THE GOOD: Tonnes of blow your socks off weapons! Great range of enemys and all with graphics that arn't great but hey, they don't offend your eyes!
THE BAD: Perhaps a limited amount of in game choices!
SUMMARY: To put it simply this game kicks ass! Many people have the opinion that it is not such a good game and yes they are entitled to there opinions but there reasons are all wrong. The graphics for example, graphics help make a game good but are not the only things that make a game good! You have to look at all the facts and figures and weigh up the pros and cons, for example, the graphics arn't great but the lifespan, characters/foes and the weapons are great! This game allows you to run round killing alien foes to your hearts content and to play a great strategy game at the same time!
This game is also great as the price is a very neat £15-£25 (Much cheaper if you get it on PC)
THE GOOD: Tons of combat, bad-ass weapons, connected levels, puzzles, good story, challenging (by 3D standards)
THE BAD: Looks kinda dated, 2 sec loading screens every few minutes, no lock on in H2H mode.
SUMMARY: I don't wanna hear any bitching from PC freaks who say stuff like "Half-Life for the PS2 sucks because of (lack of keyboard/mouse, no online multiplayer, no "mods" or "expansion packs", whatever the hell those are)" To those people: Shut up. You don't know anything.
This game is great. It follows a scientist named Gordon Freeman who works at the Black Mesa Research Facility in New Mexico. One day, he and his colleauges discover a portal to another dimension, and everyone is excited. They create some sort of material to open the portal but when they open it, all hell breaks loose and the whole damn facility gets ruined in the explosion. Your mission is to escape Black Mesa, and destroy whatever caused this disaster.
Well, considering I'm saving my money to buy Dark Cloud 2, Silent Hill 3, and Splinter Cell, I decided to rent this game over buy. And, well.. the game isn't that bad, but isn't as good as what I thought it would be. The game has a pretty good multiplayer scheme, where two people can play cooperatively in Decay mode(a mission-based game.. can be played solo), or competatively in a Deathmatch. Deathmatch, I have to say, sucked compared to better 2 player FPS games(TimeSplitters 2, etc.), because the controls were to sensitive, your character runs way too fast, there is a lack of weapons.. but anyway, one player mode is pretty good. I have to say it wasn't that bad.. but the PC version is waay better. If you have the option, buy the PC version of Half-Life.. but if you are in need of shooting a lot of cool enemies, some stupid-looking enemies, and smacking things with a crowbar, this is your game.. but I fear my relatively liking this game is an aquired taste. Rent before you buy.
THE GOOD: The graphics and weapons everything was pretty much cool.
THE BAD: That you got stuck and lost alot through out this game on your way.
SUMMARY: This game was very cool.I liked the graphics, storyline, and gameplay. It was a very fun and interesting game to me.Blasting aliens with four legs away and everything Yeah!!It was cool.I really enjoyed it.I suggest for everybody that hasn't done so to get this game.
THE GOOD: guns,popular,easy loading,easy controls,graphics,
THE BAD: getting stuck can't move
SUMMARY: Half-Life is a thriller a great game for ps2 and PC. if i bought this game i woulden't stop playing it with the single player decay and multiplayer this game has it all a classic game made for the PS2. this game is so great you'll probolly never run out of things to do. Great to play on a rainy day or even when your bored. Great price for a very great game. i can't stop playing half-life. this game has great graphics and gameplay im sure you will enjoy it.
THE GOOD: Why have Burnout when Gran Turismo 3's around well Burnout's a full-on arcade racer, punching out more thrills per second right from the start. It's not about precision driving - this is a game that actually rewards mental motoring. The more aggressive and spectacular your performance, the higher your overall 'Best Driver' score at the end of each race. The 14 courses are spread over three main locations - USA, Europe and Oriental
THE BAD: Heavy Game but is it better than GT3?
SUMMARY: What a wicked game But where's all the killings like it Grand Theft Auto That's the thing that sadly no car game has.
