SUMMARY:
This game is a highly enjoyable steath romp. The game starts off Agent 47 confesses to his priest that he has done bad things in his life. When the priest leaves his church and a gang throw him into their car. Now Agent 47 has to forget about turning over a new leaf and has save him. Rather nicely, "Hitman 2: Silent Assassin" managed to rear it's balaclava-clad head and surprise me from behind a bush recently. I had been aware of the game for a while, and never really got hugely excited by the prospect of playing it. How wrong I was.

Controlling relentless hitman 47 is no easy task, but it is made enjoyable by the easy control system that utilises drop-down menus and is adapted well for the PlayStation2 controller. After choosing your favourite weapons from a long list, you are thrown into the sprawling levels that take hours to explore. My little brother bought this game for me for Christmas and I just have to say that I haven't stopped playing it except to piss, eat and shit, and maybe sleeps an hour or two here or there. And also to type this message on the computer. Now getting to the point, this game has great controls (4.7/5), great graphics (4.6/5), and a ton of weapons to kill any foe. The part I probably like best is using the Ballers close up to shoot someone in the head. They fly so f-in' far it's not even funny!! Like 20-30 feet maybe! Now for the missions, hmm, a lot of the missions may take a while to figure out what to do and where to go, but most of them are pretty straightfoward. As for the length of the missions, well, they take about 15-25 minutes each, depending on your speed and skill level. Anyway, I gave this game a 4.7, not because this game deserves it, but becuase the dudes at Eidos are expecting it!

THE GOOD:

-even when you are wearing disguises, you get spotted way too easily most of the time
-this is a short game
-you cant carry very much ammo

SUMMARY:
This is one of the best games that most people haven't heard of. You are an assassin, and you have so many ways to kill your victims. Most of the missions, you cant just run with with all your guns, the game actually makes you think and not very many shooters do that. But the game is farily short and has some problems. People look through your disguise way too quickly. However, this is still a great game and well worth the money, its only $30 now

Hitman 2 is different. It requires you to play the part of a hitman who has to complete contracts in order to save someone. At first, the controls can be tricky to master but once you get the hang of it, it's a good game to play.

One of the major good points of the game is you can disguise yourself as an enemy, civilian or just go in as yourself and get blown to pieces. Once you kill someone, you can steal their clothes which can make it easier on you to infiltrate when your target is. The only drawback is if you run, then the enemies get suspicious of you. Some parts of the game, no matter how quiet you are or if you look like the bad guy, they still somehow manage to spot you aren't one of them. Een if you carry no weapons.

The storyline isnt the best in the world but you cant have everyhitng.
This is one of the best games that I have ever played. The gamplay is fantastic and the levels are superb.
There is a huge selection of weapons even though you dont really need them since you need to do the missions as stealthy as possible.

The AI is pretty good. When you are in missions you need to kill someone you have to get a disguise to get past guards but the guards are not that stupid so you need you watch out that they dont see through you, which happens queit alot.

Overall I say this games is near perfect and is a muct hae for PS2 owners.

THE GOOD:

Makes you feel like a real hitman by allowing you to use diguises and take out your targets silently.

Inconsistant Ai.
Tends to be difficult.
Not for the lighthearted.

The game rocks! Basically that's it. But you want to know why it rocks? Well here's why:

You get to play as a retired hitman brought back to the fight after his friend is kidnapped. There are about 20 very long, detailed, and fun missions. You go from Italy, to Russia, to Japan, to the East Indies, to the Middle East, and India... beautifully detailed locals and awesome action.

Each mission has a target to kill and the way you do it can change every time you play...

This is another great Hitman game and I am very impressed. This is even better than the first one! The only thing I dislike is that it strayed away from stealth being you're primary objective. But, other than that, I can't find too much wrong with this game. I have enjoyed playing it and have beat it numerous times. I don't regret spending $50 on it and I hope you feel the same. This game is sure to not disapoint...

I think that Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is excellent for those who are familiar with platform games. It has an excellent use of graphics and the weapons are incredible to use. I knew it was one of the best games to get when I purchased it.
