THE GOOD:The Storyline.
Jak is banished to the wasteland for life due to his "crimes" against the city and the citizens' fear of his dark powers. Now he must live his life on the outside as an outcast and an outlaw as he struggles to survive.
The Characters
There are several characters. One's you will love. One's you will despise. Take Jak for example. Being the main character, you're supposed to like him because he's a badass, a nice guy and just downright cool. Then there's Count Veger, one of the antagonists of the game. He's an evil, cold blooded jerk who you're supposed to hate. Anyway, several characters make an appearance as well as others. The characters feel almost alive when you meet them in cutscenes with the help of the great voice cast that brought them to life.
The Gameplay
Jak 3 brings a lot more Gameplay than Jak II. Fans complained about there not being much to do in the secodn one. Jak 3 brings several side missions, mini games, a wide array of desert vehicles eight new weapons, a Jet Board attack ability, 600 Precursor Orbs to collect, three enormous areas to roam featuring Haven City, Spargus City and the Spargus Wasteland.
Plot twists
Like it or not, there are more plot twists in this game. They make perfect sense and are gasp-worthy to blow you away.
Also, as a side note, the graphics seemed to be updated a little bit from the last adventure. This is absolutely the best looking platformer around today.THE BAD:
There are only a few bad points to this game. The first one is that it wasn't as long as Jak II making it a tad too short. Even as it is a fun filled adventure that is sure to last you at least four months unless you played it non stop.
The second is the amount of weapons you have. It's not really that bad, but 12 weapons...Did we really need eight new weapons? Eight weapons total is great and all, but I bet you won't use most of them.
The lack of bosses. There are four bosses in this game. These bosses are pretty tough, as well.
The last one is the difficulty level. I could've asked the game to be a bit harder.
SUMMARY:
I love the Jak and Daxter series. If there was mroe than five games, it might be my favorite. This game is really worth the cash. Some say Jak II is better, but it's a lie. As great as Jak II is, it had things that Jak 3 has and everything else Jak II had. It adds almost every genre into the game. Racing, action, platformer, adventure, flight simulator...I recommend this game to anyone and everyone.
