THE GOOD: Alot of popular Dinos
Missions
Alot of Things to experiment in
Site B ModeTHE BAD: Dig Site Limitation
Need more Dinos
Needs Better Graphics
Very long load time
Almost no Replay value SUMMARY: Ok, Just to start off, JPOG is not worth the 50 dollars. Yes, some might say, but it has the T-Rex! So..?

The good things are the park creation. There is alot of things to do, create food places, fences, dinos, restrooms, etc. The Graphics aren't half bad and the game speed is alright. It only lags when the weather changes sometimes. The controls are pretty good, not to hard to get down. he process of feeding, and taking care of your visitors and dinos is good. You get to fly a helicopter, and get to drive a Safari Car. The Side Mission Mode is also fun. But once you complete it, its really IMO not worth doing agian.

The bad things are, the replay value is quite bad. I did all the missions, and built a 5 star park and then it got pretty boring after that. The only thing that is sort of fun after you have completed the game is the Site B Mode, a mode where you can make dinos on open land and watch how they interact with one another, but still this gets very boring as well after about 5 times. Another thing I hate is the load time, it takes about 3 mins just to load a game. >.<
Also you are restricted to only 3 sig sites, when there is more then 5. Why can't we have all kinds of dinos in our park? IMO, the game could have been alot better. But if your the kind guy/or girl who likes Simulations like Sim City, SimAnt, Roller Coaster Tycoon, then you might like this game. |

THE GOOD: Dinosaurs, Gameplay, Idea, and Attactions.THE BAD: Tornados and Fatality fees. SUMMARY: The best Jurrasic Game Ever. Water and tree graphics are amazing. There is a large amount of dinos, all also amazingly detailed. But instead of having them at the beggining, you have to dig them up with your 3 dig sites (2 are picked by you.) Then you need to get the bones dna, painstakingly. Missons are fun, but not as fun as the Operation Genesis. Hot air ballons, and Sarfari Rides adds to the game in a big way. Just like the picture taking idea. Fun when tornados are around! So the people graphics aren't all up to date, so what? To manage you own dino park: the idea is great! The people who thought this game up should get a medal.
Bottom Line: Try this game for me. I know I'm getting the expansion pack right when it comes out, Winter 2003! |

THE GOOD: Dinosaurs, Attractions, Missons, and Dino Rampages!THE BAD: Play Length SUMMARY: Now, most of us have seen at least one of the Jurassic Park movies. These movies offered oppertunities for great games and developers tried to give us what we wanted, but sadly, they failed miserablely. In my opinion This is the first game that got it right. Jurassic Park Operation Genesis is a 3-D action sim. It allows you to take control of and make your own Jurassic Park. You can make enclosoures where the dinosaurs can roam free and play, or you can create thrils and chill for your guests by pitting a T-Rex against a Spinosaurus. But you must be careful. If a dinosaur becomes stressed because you have not met it's needs, It will go on a rampage and terrorize you guests. This is where the action part comes in. At this point you have the option to take control of a helicoper to either tranquilize or kill the dinosaur. Aside from creating your own Jurassic Park you can play one of twelve missions with various objectives. The only bad thing I have to say about this game is about it's length. It was fairly short. Don't get me wrong I think I'll be playing it for months to come but it just wasn't challenging enough. |

THE GOOD: The graphics in this game are truly excellent, This game will keep you occupied for hours and hours, pretty much everything............THE BAD: The only bad thing in this game is the sounds, either the main theme tune is played over and over or you will hear this grr grrr grrrrr. SUMMARY: This game kicks so much ass!!!!, everything about it is sweet, there is so much to do while making your park, or doing the missions in between, this game is better than any other simulation on the ps2, consider theme park world but with dinosaurs and and electric fences........... |
