THE BAD:Though many people had trouble with the almighty Sephiroth, they could only fight him ONCE in this game, rather than countless times in the first release. The makers also put a MUSICAL WORLD in the game, this had NOTHING to do with the damn game, also, there are MANY other worlds that had nothing to do with the storyline. Let's just say that these worlds are rather to be FILLERS.
SUMMARY:
This story does have the original characters from all Kingdom Hearts releases, you got your Sora, Donald, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, Leon (Squall), and there are many more. This time they put in NEW bad guys (well you would know who they are if you bought Chain of Memories) that is there to take over Kingdom Hearts, like Ansem in KH1. New Keyblades were also put into the game, and they also took some old ones out. They added a new thing in this game, called 'forms', there are FOUR different types you can pick from, well five if you count the form call 'Anti Form' that can not do anything but ATTACK. Valor Form is also an all-out attack, that does not let you heal, but don't worry, Donald Duck is there to heal you when needed. Wisdom Form lets you heal, but instead of 'Attack' it is replaced by something called 'Shoot', so you can stay in a far-ranged fight without you dying so easily, but for close range you have Goofy for it. Master Form lets you attack and be a mage at the same time, so no allies next to you to help you. Final Form lets you take the fighting thing in ANOTHER level, it's almost unstoppable since it does combos like crazy, the mage thing is also a new level since it doubles the Magic strike to the enemy, IIRC. So needless that the Forms can help you when you need it, but you have to be careful since you can only use it sometimes because you need to fill up the 'Drive' bar at a certain level, a down-side to this new feature, which is a hard thing to do.

Nothing changed during any fights except the very bottom of the commands, there is no more '?' at the bottom, but instead it is replaced by something called 'Drive' as mentioned above. And there are 2 sides in the Battle Commands, one side (normal side,I believe) has (top - bottom) Attack, Magic, Item, Drive. On other side has: Attack, Summon, forgot this one, and Limit. The camera also changed due to the fact that it goes around smoother and faster than the first Kingdom Hearts. And you can change to whether the camera will be inverted or normal. Audio also changed a little. Different sounds for different world and new battle sounds, IIRC.

The gummi ship whether you like it or not is back but they added a 'twist' to it. The camera changes to the side where your ship is being attacked. They also added "Missions" in the Gummi Route, so if you are tired of killing them heartless and the new foes then you can just access to the Gummi Route and pick a mission to do. Mission 1 to be an easy piece of cake. Mission 2 to be a little harder but also easy if you customized a very good Gummi Ship. Mission 3 is the hardest mission in one Gummi route, but instead of the camera moving by itself, you have to it yourself, by pressing R2 and L2. Now IIRC you also have to change the camera in some Mission 2's.

And remember the Coliseum? That was destroyed during a BIG FIGHT (pun not intended), so your asking yourself 'Then what happen to the cups?'. There are are TWO different types of cups, The Pain and Panic Cup, and The Hades Paradox Cup. The Hades Paradox Cup is technically the same as The Pain and Panic Cup, but it just has STRONGER foes in it, I mean STRONGER. So you might actually have some kind of a hard time COMPLETELY finishing the game.

Those are somethings I remember, from top of my head. And final words: if you are thinking that the game featuring Donald Duck and Goofy is 'Pretty Lame', then your being a dumbass for not finishing a pretty good game. And if you are confused in the story then I suggest you buy the FIRST Kingdom Hearts , and Kingdom Hearts : Chain of Memories [(for GBA)(there is also a Remake for the Ps2)]. Oh and you might have noticed that I didn't have a "THE GOOD" part filled out, i was just too laze to fill it out.
