Legends of Wrestling

THE BAD:
I can go a lot here. The Graphics were pathetic, hands down. The Smackdown Series OWNS the Legends of Wrestling Series in that. The gameplay was very, very difficult to perform and utilize, the controlswere wild, the AI made it hard to reverse and make offensive manuvers. The music was terrible.

SUMMARY:
Well, At the time I was sick of Smackdown: Just Bring It, and was looking for an alternative. Legends Of Wrestling came out. I rejoiced because it looked like a nice game from the outside, and for the first few minutes, it was heaven. Then reality reared it's ugly head, as I lost the match to my opponent, Hulk Hogan. I had lost the match because all I had been doing was freaking stomping and walking around.

Everything about the game settled in in the enxt half-hour. The graphics are terrible, at times I could not tell Sabu from Bret Hart. The finishes are done with the right analog stick, which is just mind-blowing. You also only have a limited timeframe of about 30 seconds to do your finisher, which also hurts the gameplay. The game was just brought down by everything, and it should be avoided at any cost.

THE BAD:
You start with limited control. Matches get repeditive. Create a character needs progress. Can't figure out how to make"the mouth of the south" just go away..

SUMMARY:
Now I can't say that I have'nt waited for a chance to take out every legend in this game.Legends Like Hulk Hogan & George "the animal"steel. Don't forget King Kong bundy & The Road Warriors. This game has a place in PS2 history. Hopefully it is the first in a series,and will improve in Legends of wrestling 2 & 3. With other legends like Andre the Giant,& The Ultimate Warrior. Let's not forget the legends of today. Would'nt that be a cool game?

THE BAD:
The control, and the parts of the graphics I didn't like.

SUMMARY:
Do not buy this game. This game might be good for people that like wrestling simulations but the same people will probably get sick of the control. The animation of the wrestlers punches are not very smoothy at all and the game is pretty clunked in the animation department. The game does have some nice options, for example you start in career mode in single matches and then after a few matches you participate in a tag match. This is not a good game though, and I'm glad I rented it and didn't buy it.

THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED, IVE SEEN BETTER GAMES ON THE ZX SPECTRUM AND COMMODORE 64

SUMMARY:
I am not really a Hardcore wrestling Fan but I used to enjoy watching it when I was younger with legends like Ultimate Warrior, Legion Of Doom, Big boss man and not forgetting Hulk Hogan. I think this game is one of the best (if not the best)wrestling games i have ever seen. If there was a cage match, a royal rumble style match and a few more legends(ie) Ultimate warrior, I would give this game a 10 out of 10
