SUMMARY:
"Be the most Notorious" Well that's pretty much what you have to do in Most Wanted.
Storyline: You start off doing 4 Races before being confronted by Sergeant Cross and says "racing in Rockport is finished" before you narrowly escape being arrested when you drive of to race then #15 Blacklist racer Razor. Before the race Razor messes with your car and lose your flash Silver & blue BMW M3 GTR in pink slips when police Sergeant Cross arrests you you are let go as there is not enough evidence when you leave Mia shows up and tells you Razor and "his boys" (Bull & Ronnie who drive SLR McLaren & Aston Martin DB9) have rocketed to #1, #2 & #3 on the Blacklist and you pick a car and start racing...
Rides: There are 60 - 70 rides that you can drive through Career Mode, Quick Race & Challenge Series. the range from the Lexus IS300 to the Porsche Carrera GT with cars like Toyota Supra, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII & Dodge Viper SRT10 as well.
Rap Sheet: the rap sheet is new to the NFS series which is how track how notorious you are with the police. This also tracks where you are in the rankings (infractions, Bounty & more) it shows how many times you've been busted and evaded, your CTS (Cost To State), bounty, infractions, what cars you drive and their individual stats.
Graphics: These graphics are about 3.8 but i think they are better than other EA Titles FIFA World Cup 06 & Command & Conquer Generals. Please Note i am using C&C:G Zero Hour. But these graphics are not as good as Tony Hawk Project8 & WWE SD V R 2008. The screen does jump like stop and start around some areas of Rockport.
(There are 3 places in it Rosewood, Camden Beach & Rockport)(Note these may be fixed by adjusting your resolution.)
Sound & Controls: The controls to NFS: MW are easy to use and learn if you have played NFS Titles before on the same platform the control will be relatively the same as previous titles. Sound is very good the soundtrack is pretty decent featuring the song from The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift credits (YOU'LL BE UNDER MY WHEELS) & sound is of high quality.
Customization Options: I am not a fan of NFS: MW's Custom options there is a limit of 1 vinyl & not alot of rim colors. It's about the same as far as Rims, Spoilers & Hoods go but lack depth in the Body Kit region with 5-2 pre-set kits each car unlike NFSU2 where there was 15 different things for Side, Front & Back. Defiantly less customizable than NFSU2 but your car can still look sweet.
In the PC edition of the game there are crash bugs that are fixed with 1.3 Patch which also gives you LAN & Online play. For other platforms the are crash bugs but as predominate as the PC edition. PS: i have PC & PS2 editions of the game so it could vary.
Helicopters: In later pursuit levels helicopters will come down and attack you lightly but this can also be an advantage if you are looking for bounty. Helicopters will make it harder to evade but this will be explained if you get it around Blacklist #9-7?
Blacklist: The Blacklist is the main core to Most Wanted's Career mode as the main point is to win your car back from Razor (and have some fun at the same time you have to go through all 15 members of the blacklist.
Challenging A Blacklister: To vs a blacklister you will need to complete a number of Races, Milestones & reach a certain amount of bounty it will show like this

Races: 3
Milestones: 3
Bounty: $20,000 something like that
There are different types of Races & Milestones
Races: Circuit, Sprint, Speedtrap, Tollbooth & Drag
Milestones: Pursuit Evasion & Length, Bounty, Roadblocks, Spikestrips, Infractions, Tagging Cop Cars, Photo Ticket & one i can't remember
Bounty is soft of hard to explain just smash cop cars to get it up
If you don't like pursuits this will be a hard game to complete because most of this game is about being known at the station.
This is perfect for people like me who love racing games but even if your not that in to them this is a great game that anyone will enjoy!
Something i should add if you get bored of Career Mode take a break and try the challenge series
