Last year Atlus delivered Persona 3 to the world. It was one of the most original games ever made, an absolutely standout title, and something which I hold dear to my heart. The story it unveiled, the characters it developed and the morals it imparted are with me to this day. That might sound strange for something like a videogame. But if there is any title out there that could actually change the way in which you view the world, Persona 3 was it.
Now Persona 4 has arrived and I'm happy to say that it lives up to expectations in every conceivable way. Reviewing this game will be impossible without referencing Persona 3, since so many of the gameplay mechanics are similar. A few sticking points have been refined this time around, but for the most part it exists in the same vein as P3, so if you liked that game (and how could you not?), you'll love this one to.
