Like many of the games I bought recently I haven't played the first one except for one level, this was one of the games where I played it on and off for ages just because there seeemed to be only only path to go and it was hard to find meaning I'd get to some point that was really hard and end up throwing my controller across the room in rage...
Overall it was a great game though... .:: Graphics ::. The graphics are brillient, quite realistic but still kinda blockly and the camara was really annoying sometimes as it would go out of control or just not show you what you need to see...The cut-scenes are brillient graphic wise, the only problem is most of them are done with in-game graphics instead of the cinematics where the graphics are something I'd love to see in game but that won't happen for quite some time... 4.7 The controls are easy to learn, most of the stuff is actived by the L1 and R1 buttons and the use of a second weapon and the powers coming from the prince instead of the dagger means that the fights can become more varied....:: Gameplay ::. The fighting is relitifly easy with many of the enimes going down with 3-4 attacks, the only times it gets hard is when the enemy is taller than you which means a health bar appearing at the bottom of the screen or when you get hordes attacking you but even then using simple jump over attack spam you can usually take them all down with the minum ammount of health being taken off... Most tasks are hard to find and sometimes harder to do but most of the trobule comes from finding them as the paths are usually finding a inch wide ledge and jumping on it and then going on other ledges like it going down some curtains and continue... There are a few secrets and they are extremly hard to find without a stratgy guide of online FAQ, meaning they are pointless to put in really... 4.5 The game lasts for quite a bit, I got it near to the release and I am still not finished, you can replay it many times to find all the secrets and the alternate ending as well....:: Lifespan ::. As there is no two-player or on-line it does have a limited life and the replay value goes as you know where to go and what to do... 3.5 The music is good, at times, like all in-game music it is quiet adn in the background kinda subliminal so you don't notice it but it influences you....:: Sounds ::. At times it will speed up and get more dramatic or it will just be calm... The sound effects are great and the voice acting is top-notch even though sometimes they over-do the shouting or the lines are corny... 4.0 A great game but it can become frustating, don't really get it if you don't like puzzle-solving or if you don't have much time to play....:: Overall ::. 4.0
