SUMMARY: Graphics are top for a PS2 Game, Sound and Musical Score are a piece of art aswell as the smart level design! -Extremely innovative!!! Great action in the game aswell as alot of thinking how to combine all these tricky moves to get you to the point where you´re supposed to go! The controles are easy to learn and shouldn´t take longer than about 10 minutes to get used to. About the Bugs, safe your game often and have a few safegames of the current gamesession as I experienced a Loading failure (kept dying even that my life was a 100%) and got stuck on a platform that did not want to lift up anymore after reloading, but as I sayed those were the only two times a Bug...

THE GOOD: Amazing graphics. Nice mix of asian music and the battle music rocks. The gameplay is great, its one of those games you can just pick up and play. Pity about the camera though.
THE BAD: A bit to short.
SUMMARY: The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time game is excellent. When i decided to buy it i refered to the adverts which looked exelent. i brought it and was amazed that it was better than in the ads. Also i played a playable demo which came with OFFICIAL PLAYSTATION 2 MAGAZINE UK which is the only mag with playable demos.
GRAPHICS : 5.0 : Brilliant in every way. SOUND : 5.0 : lovely blendof asian music GAMEPLAY : 4.7 : lovely combat and acrobatic moves. pity about the camera. LIFE SPAN: 4.8 : A bit short but bloody tricky.
OVERALL : Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an ecxellent game and well worth £40.

SUMMARY: Gameplay
This game is an awesome action adventure game where you get to play as the legendary Prince of Persia. As he narriates his story, you will control him as he tries to undo the damage he has caused. You fight the creatures of the Sand of Time that helps you throughout your journey. You get to use The Prince's skills to vault over people, run on walls, etc. It is also quite simple to perform these moves. I kinda wish you didn't have all these abilities from the start, it would give you something to work for as the game goes on.

SUMMARY: It's great to have an original game here on the PS2, this will break away from some of those other games on the PS2. Once you first start this game you will be amazed at the graphics in the cut scenes, they have really brought the game to life. The game is set in Persia when it was a thriving place full of action, the perfect place to put an action game.
Though this game doesn't deliver a lot of action, the action it does deliver you will be quite pleased with, it is quite intense and you will need to focus. Well the game play is based around you jumping to the next area basically, though it is quite difficult, there are many challenges that await you, even booby traps and they'll get you if you are not concentrating, you really need to concentrate in this game to make it.
THE BAD: Fighting can be frustrating at times A bit too short for me
SUMMARY: This is what all puzzle/action adventure games should follow. I've played through this game several times, and the fun is always there. The sense of non-stop action lasts throughout the whole game, but its quick pacedness( is that a word?) can leave gamers wanting a bit more when it's all over (6 hours). Gameplay is definately its strong point. The gameplay, minus some excruciatingly hard fight scenes at times, is flawless and an absolute marvel. The combination of traps and puzzles work perfectly together. Crumbling floors and saw blades coming out of walls will leave many of you holding your breath. You can tell that a lot of time and precious thinking went into making this game. There's really no other game out there like this. Give it a try, it will be well worth it.
THE GOOD: great graphics time control sword upgrades good storyline great athletic skills it's a game that actually gets harder once you get new weapons... and of course realistic damage and sparks
THE BAD: Sidekick with bad aim sidekick... have to retrieve sand from enemies... basically if they're on the floor they'll get back up... fighting engine is too repetitive enemies look the same some puzzles will make you throw down the controller and make you wnt to throw the console out of the window and break down and cry...
SUMMARY: this is a very good game as you get to controll tome and run up and along walls... but if you dont like games where you have a sidekick who cant defend themselves... dont even bother to get this game... and dont forget to search for secret areas. as they have things like a higher health bar or a sand cloud...

SUMMARY: One of the most original game ideas I have ever laid my eyes upon. The Prince describes this as if he were looking in the past, like a story. If you do something different, he will correct you until you do things exactly as they were set out to be. This is just a portion of why this game is so good. You have the abilities to use time for your advantage, you can master amazing stunts, and most of all, do the challenges set for you in the game. This game is perfect for anyone who likes strategy games, adventure games, and of course, likes a good challenge.
THE BAD: Time just flys by when your playing. The story isnt quite as gripping as you might have hopped.
SUMMARY: Prince of persia: the sands of time has an original story line that you may find generally quite tiresome after some while, but never fear! The graphics and gameplay totally blow you away. POP involves a different asortment of puzzles during gameplay. Completeing these puzzles will allow you to move on in the story. The graphics are acctually quite amazing. 9.5/10. The sound is very well done. Thats all i can really say. brilliant. If you like fighting enemys with cool moves then this is a game for you. backfliping over enemys then poking them with a long pointy sword is one of the many moves that you can do. THE GOOD: Great graphics Fun to play Changelling Great storyline It is Different Makes you want to sit around the TV all day playing it.
THE BAD: Sometimes the fighting can get a little boring as the bad guys keep reapearing and there are so many it just gets boring after a while. Repiditive gameplay.
SUMMARY: This is a MUST HAVE game. Sure there are some Cons, but don't all great games have Cons? The graphics are ewxcellent!! It is also alot of fun running across walls, doging dangerious obsticals and killing evil spirits. This is not a game that you can finish overnight (well i guess you could if you played it all night not makeing any mistakes) as it is sooo hard. It takes a while to master the Princes moves. Along the way there are better swords, stronger and harder sand creatures and beautifull enviroments.
