Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

SUMMARY:
Now following the sucess of my "Max Payne2" review, i'm going to follow suit and break this up into sctions.

Graphics
score- 9.5
The graphics on this game will blow you away. Apart from the slight glitches the graphics are amazing. Although the graphics are nothing special.

Sound
score- 5
The loss of good backround music is on of the slight imperfections of his game. The rest of the sound is great especially the voices.

Story
score- 8.5
Now the story is basically about a kingdom who invades another kingdom and steals the dagger and hourglass of time...

THE BAD:
To Short!!!
(Took me 9 hrs. to finish the game the first time)
Experienced 2 Bugs!!!

SUMMARY:
Graphics are top for a PS2 Game, Sound and Musical Score are a piece of art aswell as the smart level design! -Extremely innovative!!!
Great action in the game aswell as alot of thinking how to combine all these tricky moves to get you to the point where you´re supposed to go!
The controles are easy to learn and shouldn´t take longer than about 10 minutes to get used to.
About the Bugs, safe your game often and have a few safegames of the current gamesession as I experienced a Loading failure (kept dying even that my life was a 100%) and got stuck on a platform that did not want to lift up anymore after reloading, but as I sayed those were the only two times a Bug...

THE GOOD:

-Control the Sands of Time with moves like slow, rewind, freeze, and fast forward.

-Unlock the original POP game your parents played

THE BAD:
-Can get repetive

-Camera Angles may bother some

-Fighting can be too easy by just using one of two moves to win

Gameplay

This game is an awesome action adventure game where you get to play as the legendary Prince of Persia. As he narriates his story, you will control him as he tries to undo the damage he has caused. You fight the creatures of the Sand of Time that helps you throughout your journey. You get to use The Prince's skills to vault over people, run on walls, etc. It is also quite simple to perform these moves. I kinda wish you didn't have all these abilities from the start, it would give you something to work for as the game goes on.

Time just flys by when your playing. The story isnt quite as gripping as you might have hopped.

SUMMARY:
Prince of persia: the sands of time has an original story line that you may find generally quite tiresome after some while, but never fear! The graphics and gameplay totally blow you away.
POP involves a different asortment of puzzles during gameplay. Completeing these puzzles will allow you to move on in the story.
The graphics are acctually quite amazing. 9.5/10.
The sound is very well done. Thats all i can really say. brilliant.
If you like fighting enemys with cool moves then this is a game for you. backfliping over enemys then poking them with a long pointy sword is one of the many moves that you can do.
Gameplay moves are also essential, like running along walls to reach dificult places.

Sometimes the fighting can get a little boring as the bad guys keep reapearing and there are so many it just gets boring after a while.
Repiditive gameplay.

SUMMARY:
This is a MUST HAVE game. Sure there are some Cons, but don't all great games have Cons? The graphics are ewxcellent!! It is also alot of fun running across walls, doging dangerious obsticals and killing evil spirits. This is not a game that you can finish overnight (well i guess you could if you played it all night not makeing any mistakes) as it is sooo hard. It takes a while to master the Princes moves. Along the way there are better swords, stronger and harder sand creatures and beautifull enviroments.

THE GOOD:

~ Very Difficult at parts
~ Sometimes things will get boring after so long.

SUMMARY:
One of the most original game ideas I have ever laid my eyes upon. The Prince describes this as if he were looking in the past, like a story. If you do something different, he will correct you until you do things exactly as they were set out to be.
This is just a portion of why this game is so good. You have the abilities to use time for your advantage, you can master amazing stunts, and most of all, do the challenges set for you in the game.
This game is perfect for anyone who likes strategy games, adventure games, and of course, likes a good challenge.
