THE GOOD:
Looks are good.Platinum title for the ps2.Many teams, both clubs and national teams.

THE BAD:
The sound is thin.Presentation is very weak, it's like you never get sucked into the game "when is it going to be fun?".Control is slow and particularly clumsy.Commentators should get some speed orcocain because they are the most fatiguing voices I ever heard in a sports game.

SUMMARY:
I read about reviews like this on the game, so I bought it.

Very dissapointing I found out, this is not even close to TIF 2002.

I even concider FIFA a better game then this (though I think it's too easy).

Why did they make the controls so clumsy (or special if you wish). There is nothing like intuition to be seen heard or smelled here.IT'S TERRIBLE!

SUMMARY:

Good looks, cheap and many teams.

Lousy presentation, bad sound, terrible commentators and controls from another planet.

THE GOOD:
Realistic play. It is not the shabby quick fire arcade mode that fifa sticks to. This is like the real thing. It's harder to.

THE BAD:
Commentry . Fake european names e.g (Roberto Larcos or Butatista). And few english club teams.

SUMMARY:
The great thing about this game is that keepers rarely catch a shot like in reality, unless it is a soft shot then they will just pick it up. Some ways of scoring will only work against certain teams. It has hidden features. But the main thing is it is a lot harder than fifa. You will rarely run it round a player (realism) you will have to pass to score. You will not win every game by 10 goals unless you have it on easy.

THE GOOD:
The graphics are totally excellent And the create-a-player is totally perfect. The gameplay is excellent and when you score a goal you feel as if you actually earned it unlike bloody Fifa 2002 where you easily just shoot and it goes in.Also when you lose you know it was your fault and not because of some miracle save by the CPU or something like that. And when you score your celebration depends on what situation your in unlike in Fifa 2002 if you score a goal and you're 8-1 down you jump around like *bleep* tree monkeys. Also the players look like they do in real life unlike fifa 2002's gargoyles.

THE BAD:
The sound is a tiny bit shabby and they don't have all the right names. The other flaw is that you can't transfer players from club teams.

SUMMARY:
The best game you can get on PS2.In my opinion this is the best game i've ever played. This game put all the fifa's to shame.

THE GOOD:
The graphics, the interface, and most important of all the gameplay. It is so (almost) perfect, for all those who haven't the game, you can't even imagine. This is THE game.....until PES2 comes out.

THE BAD:
the sound has always been a bad thing in the series and this game makes no exception, allthough it has improved a bit, but still... the commentary and the sound of the ball....1/5

SUMMARY:
This game is just a must-have for all the footie-fans.
The gameplay is,as usual, excellent and the only thing you can do is buy it.(although now, youy could maybe wait for PES2 which comes uit mid or end Ocotber).

The sound is unfortunatly not so good (although it isn't important, but hey.. u want a perfect game or not?) and that's why I don't give it a 5.
one tip: buy yourself a stereo where you can put 5cd's,put some cd's in it,let the music play(ow,sounding a bit like Barry White)and turn that PS2 on for some 4-5hours PES !!! then change the cd's,put 5 other cd's in it, and play again for 4)5hours PES,then change ....

THE GOOD:
The good is the graphics, absolubtly stunning, very real, same, easy to use gameplay/interface as ISS Pro Evo 2, the best Football game yet, much better than FIFA Whatever!

THE BAD:
The bad is that some of the players have still got unreal names, but this can be fixed!

SUMMARY:
A brilliant game! If you cant wait for the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer 2, then buy this, it is a classic and can keep you and your mates occupied for hours.

THE GOOD:
Gameplay, graphics, sound

THE BAD:
There is nothing wrong with this game

SUMMARY:
I have played soccer games since many years ago and I have to say that KCET has in PES, the best soccer game for any plataform avaible. For those who care about gameplay, there is no point of comparison between PES or any Fifa, Winning Eleven, Extratime games. You have to weave very careful a good play in order to score, you have a faster game speed that winning 5 and winning 6 . The the commentaries and replays are very acceptable.
Donīt even doubt it. The best in soccer games

THE GOOD:
Best visuals for a football game so far. Stunning realism, no more 10-0 trouncin of the opposition.
Great multiplayer fun, being able to play your friends master league team.
Great editing feature, plenty of facials to be able to create near enough anyone.

THE BAD:
Commentary isnt too hot.
Not all the player names are correct, but its getting there!
Little bonuses for completion of all the tournaments.

SUMMARY:
The best football game out there at the moment.

I have had PRO EVO SOCCER since the day it was released here in UK and i have to say it is definitely the best football game ever and overall is one of the best games ever (unless you hate football!).

I waited a long time for this game and it's one of the main reasons why i got a PS2, and when i started playing it was definitely worth the wait.

This is the most realistic football game as you have to pass the ball and create space just like in real football, so you feel more pleased when you do actually score a goal because you've had to work to get it unlike other footy games (e.g. FIFA - run all the way past every player and score every time you have a shot).

FIFA is not like real football, yes it has the real players, kits, stadiums and leagues but it doesn't play like football. PRO EVOLUTION does! and gameplay is what matters rather than which game has an official license.

You won't get ridiculous results in games such as FIFA where matches can often end 8-6 or something stupid like that.

Overall this is the best sports game ever, whether playing in single player or in multiplayer it's fantastic.
