THE BAD:
Game can get repetitive
Nothing to do after the completion of the game
SUMMARY: This game may be old but it is an all time PS2 classic. This game is fun for all the family despite the fact that it doesn't have 2 player compatabilty. Although the game cover clearly states that the game is for a 3+ audience, some of the levels far exceed the knowledge compacity of that of a 3 year old. As you progress through the game each level gets harder and harder (As most...
THE GOOD: -Improved graphics and sound -Much more challenging -Very entertaining for the most part -Lots of extras -Longer than the first -Slightly larger levels -More things to do than the original
THE BAD: -Still has lots of glitches (50+!) -Can get frustrating -Still gets boring once you beat it
SUMMARY: Is Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando a true sequel to the original winner? Well, it has the same great music with improved sound effects and dialog, familiar visuals with boosted explosions, and better gameplay and features, so I'd say it's the perfect sequel.
Graphics: 10 -- It was cool to see that the same gorgeous visuals from the original R&C were renewed in this title, but this time with a few improvements. The character structures haven't changed; Ratchet's just as detailed and graceful as ever. And all the new characters in the game look...
THE GOOD: >The wide range of weapons that can be upgraded >Upgradable Nanotech(health) >The many different levels >The background music was well-suited to the game >Wide range of enemies >Hilarious script
THE BAD: >Giant Clank Missions >Spaceship Missions and Maxi-Games(Hoverboarding)
SUMMARY: This game is GREAT!!!!.It takes about one and a half weeks to fully clock for a beginner and about five days for the experts. The upgrades for both your weapons and health are both huge bonuses. The levels are pretty big and there is a lot of stuff that you can do on them. There's even an interactive museum in one of them! The script is extremely funny and the music is brilliantly selected. The only MINOR downside to this game is the Giant Clank Missions where Clank turns huge and has to punch and launch missiles at a target which takes longer than it sounds (approx. half an hour) and the maxi games which are...
THE GOOD: -Weapons -Upgradable Weapons -upgradable Nanotech (Health) -Lots o' Worlds -Spherical Worlds -Hoverbike Racing -Funny
THE BAD: -Space Fighting -Story Gets Kinda Dumb -Gets Repetitive (but after a LONG time)
SUMMARY: This game is awesome. Easily one of my favorites; right up there with MGS.
Gameplay: 5/5 The controls are great. There's no thinking or anything, the controls are so good when you want to do something it kind of just clicks, like a reflex. Great elements like lock-on, strafing, flips, etc. are wonderful. Customizable weapons: too cool, too cool.
Graphics: 4/5 So so. If you want realistic, these aren't for you. These graphics are lush, cartoony graphics, and they fit the game perfectly. They would have gotten an 5 if it wasn't for the water, and a few minor glitches.
Sound: 4/5 The music is alright. It's kind of annoying, after a long while,...
THE GOOD: The graphics and voices are good. The cut scenes are funny. Some of the weapons are cool.
THE BAD: After hours of shooting enemies over and over again, it gets kind of boring.
SUMMARY: Let's start with the bad, shall we? First of all, what the heck is Ratchet? He's like some kind of creepy rat with a gay voice. About half way through the game I gave up. I couldn't stand another hour of shooting the same enemies again. It's annoying. And when you turn it back on, you have to start from the beginning of the area. Why can't you just start from the continue point? There are many good things about it, though. The voices and graphics are very good. The cutscenes are funny. I love that blitz cannon. And that star thingy. Oh, yeah! I guess if you like doing nothing but shooting weird enemies for hours, this game is good. It made me bored, though.
THE GOOD: Nice Smooth Graphics Big Guns and upgrades! Fun comical story The different planets Replay Value Challenge Mode
THE BAD: Sometimes can get repetitive but the many guns and upgrades can make up for that Nothing too bad in particular
SUMMARY: Well to tell my story of how i got this game would be long so I'll make it short. I was at my cousins house who was 9 and i was babysitting i sawhim play this game and at first i thought it was for little kids. But it looked fun so after a while of trying i began to like it. I bought it and i have no regrets.
First off
Storyline/Plot: Very funny and humorous most of the times. The Villain is very funny when he tries to be serious. Going to different planets completing missions for one main goal is just a really good concept in this game.
Gameplay: This is the best part of the game. You go around with different guns (and a wrench) with a...
THE GOOD: Where do I start... Amazing interactive scenery (everything smashes! And money comes out!). MASSES of weapons, which, if used a lot, upgrade to stronger versions. Lots of levels to go to. Lots of replay value, with masses of special stuff to unlock (Movies, mini-games- but my favorate is the Insomniac Museum, which shows ideas not included for the game). Cool gadgets, Maxi-games (Space battles, Hoverbike racing and the Gladiator Arena). And a funny story line- with a twist.
THE BAD: Erm... I'll get back to you on that one... oh dear... well, I suppose it's not everyone's cup of tea- can't think of anyone, though... Almost forgot: SKIP THE OPENING SCREEN! AARRGGHH! The story line gets a bit stupid at times.
SUMMARY: They've uped the Polygon count since the last game. Catchy music, addictive. Good all round game. When you enter the first level, you know you're playing something special.
THE GOOD: -Awesome graphics! -Good Gameplay -Two Words:CHALLENGE MODE!!!! -Upgrading weapons -Armor and Secrets without all the "Dancing" like in the first one
THE BAD: -Get's repetitive after a while -Challege mode -First person Mode -No Suck Cannon or Glove of Doom(and any other very Creative items)
SUMMARY: It's very challenging and Really fun. Awesome weapons. And you get to play as Clank! And the little sprinkle of RPG elements were very genius!and you get to upgrade weapons! TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!!!I loved this game and it's creative enemies. Also the spherical world were Genius!!!The Musical scores were also Genius.I recommend you buy this game right now!And it was made by the people who made Spyro!!!HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!?!?others say this game sucks and no one will ever play it...WEL THEY'RE WRONG!!!i recommend you play Ratchet and Clank 1 First so you'd get more into the story.
THE GOOD: -Tons of weapons -Graphics -Cool sidekick
THE BAD: -Levels aren't cool -It gets boring after awhile -It looks a little too cartoon-ish if you like GTA
SUMMARY: This game is basically just trying to shoot and then shoot bolts down your throut. Lot's of shooting and fighting, that's your only way around. But the game is good because it has so many weapon upgrades, and the characters are a little immature though. They also fixed the slippery controls now that bothered me in the other. But it gets a little tired an old, because all you're doing is collecting bolts.
The level design is very similar to Spiro, so if you like that, you'll like this. But I think you should pick it up. The characters are probably still as famous as they were, but I will give you a hint, at the end, a VERY BIG Special Level is accessable, probably the best Easter Egg ever!
THE GOOD: Enormous variety of Weapons and Gadgets. Health-increasing and Weapon-improving RPG elements. A massive challenge. Collecting everything will take solid weeks at least.
THE BAD: Possibly some slight frustration.
SUMMARY: First, I would just like to say this - THIS, RATCHET AND CLANK II: LOCKED AND LOADED, IS THE ULTIMATE PLAYSTATION 2 VIDEOGAME. It is PERFECTION. The graphics are even more stunning than last time, the dialogue and events are hilarious, and the gameplay is fantastic. Not only can you buying upgrades for your Weapons, such as showering an emeny is burning acid when the blast connects with them, you can also cause your Weapons to essentially EVOLVE. Yes, once you have filled up a Weapon's Experience Bar, it will transform into its Super Form. Later on, you will be able to purchase the MEGA form - fill up this final Experience bar and you will have the ULTRA form - not to be messed with.
