Background:
It is said that every 200 years the ‘Evil’ will come back to earth and will try to rule the world with a helping hand from their forces. At the same time, the Goddess Athena will be reincarnated, to prevent the Evil from accession to power on earth, and save the world.

The original story features five main characters: Seiya the Pegasus Saint, Shiryu the Dragon Saint, Shun the Andromeda Saint, Hyoga the Cygnus Saint and Ikki the Phoenix Saint. The task of those Saints is to protect Athena and fight against the evil forces and defeat them.
