THE GOOD:
+Fun Single Player and Multi Player gameplay
+Plenty of Infantry classes
+New features like playing as Jedi and Sith not mention Space Battles

THE BAD:
-Slow paced space battles
-Some Maps are missing

SUMMARY:
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts. Unlike most Star Wars games I have played, Battlefront 2's main focus is on ground troops, as opposed to Jedi. I categorize this game as a first and third person shooter.

The first Battlefront game was ground troops exclusive. In other words, no Jedi, Sith, or other heroes from the movies. There were also no space battles. It all changed with the arrival of Battlefront2, which boasted space battles and the ability to play as your favorite movie characters.

The first gameplay mode is instant action. You create your own profile and fight the CPU in either a battle mode, which is a 32...

Haven't you dreamed of being a fearsome dordieka in the harsh worlds of the Star Wars galaxy? Well, since you're reading this review, you probably have. Star Wars Battlefront II is a very good shooter set in the battlefields of the fictional, but much loved, stars wars series. You get to choose what class of soldier you want to be, From the Droid Assassin, to the imperial engineer. The object of the main game is to blast your way through the epic star wars backup, with a ton of enemies trying to bring you down or capture all the command posts. But command posts really only come into play when the starting reinforcements are set to 500%, which makes for truly epic star wars battles.

It isn't much an improvement over the last series, which could disappoint the hardcore battlefront fan, but there are a few additions that keep you sleeping easily. One of the new additions are the space battle mode, where you have to be the first to get a set number of victory points, by...

THE GOOD:
+ Variety of characters to choose from, from all across the Star Wars universe and history
+ Every major map included from the films
+ Command a team of 4
+ Space battles!
+ Play as Jedi and Sith!
+ Accurate and detailed Story
+ Bonus Modes

THE BAD:
- Graphics could be better
- Guns tend to be inaccurate

SUMMARY:
I didn't think it was possible, but this game has certainly improved on it's outstanding predecessor Battlefront 1. LucasArts has definitely made the perfect game for everyone who wanted to know what it was like to be a Stormtrooper, a driodeka, or even a Wookiee!

With a huge selection of characters, including all the major soldier types of ALL 4 FACTIONS- CIS, Republic, Empire and Rebels- such as all new Clone types seen only in Episode 3, Droidekas and even General Grievous' bodyguards, we really are spoilt for choice on who to be.

And not only do we have to struggle...

THE GOOD:
- Beautifully recreated environments
- Single and multiplayer depth
- All the weapons and vehicles you could want
- Hero characters are playable
- Smart opponents and tactical play
- Space battles expand the gameplay greatly
- Great sound, plus THAT score...
- Accessible, pick-up-and-play
- Hey, it's STAR WARS, what more do you want?

THE BAD:
- Hero voice acting sometimes dodgy
- Popular vehicles very, very slow

SUMMARY:
People often forget the second word in the STAR WARS franchise. With the prequel trilogy, there was just as much political intrigue as there was blasting everything in sight. While this is either good or bad depending on your point of view, debating trade disputes in the Senate would make a very boring videogame indeed. Thankfully, it appears, there's enough of the WARS about the prequel trilogy to beef up the original series of battles and make BATTLEFRONT II the most...

THE GOOD:
-Playable Jedis
-Space Battles
-More levels
-Graphics upgraded
-New Unit Classes
-Better Campaign
-Smoother gameplay
-Customize every singleplayer gamemode before playing.
-Units and jedis can sprint.
-More vehicles.
-More game modes (1 CTF, 2 CTF, Hunt, Assault, Conquest).

THE BAD:
-Jedi controls are OK, plus they only have 1-2 jedi powers.
-Graphics got minor glitches here and there. Sometimes blurry.
-Bespin Platforms and Bespin City are not in BF2.
-Some levels are small.
-Space Battles can get boring and repetitive.
-Galactic Conquest wasn't all that interesting, it was more of a board game in my opinion.
-Unit orders don't always work.
-Vehicles don't do splash damage.

SUMMARY:
I would give this game 5 out of 5 for the gameplay and graphics, but i gave it a 4 out of 5 because of some of the major stuff that's been tweaked which most people...

THE GOOD:
-Playable Jedi have been added
-Space combat has been added
-Clones look smoother and more realistic
-New battles from Ep. 3
-Different game modes like Hunt and Capture the Flag
-Improved Galactic Conquest mode
-Far better storymode
-Keeps track of your stats and awards you medals.

THE BAD:
-Jedi controls are lame and the Jedi only have one combo, most of which don't look very Jedi-ish.
-Space combat is repetetive and never really fun in the first place.
-Less people in a battle at a time. In Battlefront 1 there could be 64, in this game there are only 32.
-Tanks and turrets have been weakened way too much, and there is no splash damage from heavy weapons.
-Most of the new soldier types are not fun to use.
-It's very obvious this game was rushed, as there are tons of glitches and bugs.
-Horrible, horrible, horrible AI.
-AI players can not use heroes in PS2 version, unless...

THE GOOD:
- A hero system has been added to Battlefront II, something that was not available in the last one, allowing them to be playable.
- Space combat has been added to this game as well, also missing in the last version, with the added availability of Jedi.
- Remade Rise of the Empire mode as a single player campaign.
- Increased number of multiplayer maps.
- Added medal and profile system.

THE BAD:
- Very similar to the last game that came out in the series.
- The game was rushed, leaving behind several bugs and other touches that needed finishing.
- Online play not heavily improved over the last game.
- The game gets fairly repetitive after some time.

SUMMARY:
Battlefront II came out some time ago, way back in November, 2005, packaged along with the newest movie in the Star Wars saga. While this increased it's value immensely in sales, LucasArts, unfortunately, rushed the product out onto the...

THE GOOD:
Compared to the original Battlefront, i dont personally think that Battlefront 2 is better. However, im a Star Wars fan and so, this game automaticalyl passses the test.

i own a copy of Battlefront 2 but not Battlefront 1, which is kinda annoying coz i like number 1 better. But Battlefront delivers what it has to offer VERY well.

- New Clone skins from Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
- New weapons and vehicles.
- OMG playable Jedi.
- New unit for each faction (Clone Commander, Magma Guard, Imperial Officer and Bothan Spy)
- New maps which match Episode 3 (Kashyyyk in particular)
- Space Battles
- Sprint mode
- Greatly enhanced Galactic Conquest

THE BAD:
Now, the bad. Battlefront 2 has had certian things (maps mainly) cut out of it that were in Battlefront 1.

- Cant go prone
- No air vehicles on ground, save the snow speeder.
- No Jar Jars to kill.... =(
- No...

THE GOOD:
Well, I'm pretty sure everyone who has both versions of BF noticed this, but the graphics were out of this world. In the first game, the Troopers that had a cloak had stiff ones, so it looked kinda ugly with cloaks that wouldn't wave and fly everywhere, but this game fixes that problem. Cloaks are cooler and Resolution is much better.

Now, there is the installment of Space, which was great. Now, you can literally play in almost, if not all, of the Fight scenes from Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. Honestly, it kinda feels great being in the fight scene from the movies. It feel like your a part of the action.

With the addition of special awards and unlockable weapons, it certainly beats unlocking pictures that don't benefit you in any way, like in Battlefront I. That was just sad, but anyway, the special awards, take Gunslinger for example, unlocks a special Award weapon after you earn the Award a certain amount of times. When...

THE GOOD:
The new levels in the game are simply spectacular. Take Mustafar, for example: every detail is put into it, right down to the three long steel arms that Anakin and Obi-Wan fought on. And Utapau was astounding, especially with the city street in it. Galactic Conquest has been juiced up, too, with a strategic-tactical side. The game is set up like a board game, and you have to buy new soldier classes. Bonuses are also available, like Bacta tanks and a hero bonus, meaning...Jedi! Oh the Jedi! You've waited for it, and now it's here! The Jedi, along with a few other Star Wars heroes, are now playable! Although they have timers limiting their usage, they are great to use. Your battles can go from a seemingly total loss, and switch to a sure-fire win once the hero arrives. And if you tweak some of the settings, Heroes can go one-on-one(although only in 2-player). Unfortunately, when playing single-player, AI are too dumb to use their jedi (with the exception of Mos...
