SUMMARY:
Don't get me wrong, I love the Tenchu series and have played it loyally since the first one came out for PS1. This installment however is just too frustrating and difficult to bother with.

First off, they removed Rikimaru from the story and have not subbed in any kind of male playable replacement. Supposedly this takes place between 1 and 3 when it was thought that Rikimaru was dead. The females, Rin and Ayame are setup with waaay to much sex appeal. I like sexy chicks as much as the next guy but there comes a point where it's more fun to play a female who is truly skillful and doesn't...

''Tenchu: Fatal Shadows'' is the latest installment of the greatest ninja simulator series ever created. You once again get to revisit feudal Japan to immerse yourself in true ninja gameplay as you assassinate, deliver messages and perform other missions that involve stealth, tact and most of all patience. Although using the same physics engine from Wrath of Heaven, Fatal Shadows is a worthy installment of a great tradition.

In ''Tenchu: Fatal Shadows'' you assume the roles of two female ninjas, Ayame and Rin(No Rikimaru this time). Since the story takes place right after Tenchu:Stealth Assassins, Ayame is still patrolling the land and stumbles upon a decimated ninja village. Rin appears and assumes Ayame to be the culprit and so they face off. However they soon discover that a more sinister force is at work and therefor become more allied in their effort to uncover the truth.
