The Sims 2: Castaway

THE GOOD:
Whatever topic a Sims game covers,it does it really well.
So many translations...
Talking with a Chimpanzee!
Exploring other islands doing side stories and finding your lost family.
Build so many things.
Removed disgusting things from previous games like flushing toilets and cleaning... and they even had them as raising your sim's mood...

THE BAD:
Gets complicated.
Will need some getting used to.

SUMMARY:
Sims 2 Castaway is the latest Sims game. This series is known for the many, many, many expansions to both games. It is a series of simulator games covering topics from university to pets to this one.

Story:
Not much to tell... you choose how many people go to a trip with their boat that has a little accident and end up castaway in an island in the Carribean. Your target is either going back to civilization or enjoying your new life. You can also do "side-quests" to meet other people (or...

THE GOOD:
The unique premise of being Castaway makes it more interesting.

One must make everything, which makes the game more interesting.

The game has easy to understand goals.

None of the goals are particularly difficult or hard to complete.

The Travel Menu allows one to move quickly between locations

The game has useful Menus, which make playing easier.

High replay value.

THE BAD:
No way to check to see if one Sim has a romantic relationship with another Sim.

Few romantic socials.

There is no Woohoo.

The game has a couple of serious bugs.

SUMMARY:
The Sims 2 Castaway is quite a bit different from the other Sims games, since it has a very different premise, which is that your Sim is shipwrecked on a deserted island.
