Transformers

INTRO
Based on the cartoon series (2nd generation), Transformers is a very good game overall. The basic premise involves you playing as one of three selectable Autobots as you set out over vast and beautiful landscapes to destroy and thwart the plans of the evil Decepticons. The game is beautifully rendered and runs almost flawlessly on the PS2 and let's face it, Transformers rock!!!

STORY 9/10
The story is your basic good versus evil where you fight your way through a level only to face a huge and usually oversized boss at the end. Everything is tied together with wonderfully crafter CG cutscenes as well as intermittent radio wave transmissions. As you progress through the game the enemies become bigger and harder to defeat but the storyline never really seems to falter or become dry and tedious. It could have been a little longer but meh, gameplay is really where it's at anyways right?

THE GOOD:

Robot is too heavy...not easy to control.

I just play this game. I started play at 8pm, guess what..I cant stop playing until 4.45am in the morning.
Though it is dificult..I kinda like it. SOOOO MUCH.
Im not use to ATARI controls...but its going to be OK.
Im now stuck at the cold region..Antartica. Lost...Dont know where to go.
Actully I like Harry Potter III, Resident Evil ALL, and ofcourse ENTER THE MATRIX. ALL TIME FAVOURITE.
Keep repeting playing it again & again. Nothing action about the transformers but I think I like it because of the mini-cons.Love to collect them. THATS ALL. Not about the mission or the Character. The mini-cons is cute & handy. But as beginner I find it very difficult to go back to HQ again & again just to find the right mini-con for the right mission. I think I am too lazy to think....

THE GOOD:
Graphics, story, boss fights, level detail.

THE BAD:
Really short. No real replay value. No multiplayer/co-op.

SUMMARY:
It's a good game. Not much of a replay value though. I mean once you get all the mini-cons & data-cons, what else is there to do? Nothing much. Maybe just go out and try out all the mini-cons on baddies. I'll wait 'til the price goes down on this one but I still give it a high rating of 7.5/10. The game was way too short. It would've been cool if I would've faced more bosses. Facing Starscream twice in the game was really cool cos he's an evil bastard in the boss fights. (and he's my fave Decepticon) Megatron is a tough battle so expect to get punk'd a couple of times before you actually manage to "damage" him. Well it took me a while. ¬_¬ The mini-con overload is also something bad about this game. I'm sure there'll be a code that let's you max out your mini-con abilities. Until then,...
