THE GOOD:
You shoot dudes in the face and they dieTHE BAD:
About as much fun as snorkling in a pool of hot sand SUMMARY:
Back in the day I gave this game a 3.5. What the *bleep* was I thinking. This game is total shit and I hate it with a passion. It is based on the film and it pretty much copies Devil May Cry when it comes to how the game plays. You run around, hit monsters, shoot monsters and overall kick ass. But the game's camera is shit and the overall combat in the game is lacking much punch or lasting value. You do get a interesting enough assortment of weapons but the game never really gets interesting at all. It is a lot of shit. The graphics as well are just black and grey. That is the first thing I think about when I think about this game just black and grey. The game also generally doesn't look that good with dodgey character models and framerate problems. So what can I say? The game is repetitive and repulsive drivel and if you are into this type of thing, get something like Devil May Cry because it is a thousand times better |

THE GOOD:
-Characters are Realistic and areas
-Graffics are truely good
-Storyline is good
-Enimies rnage from Gargoyles to Skeletons
-Enimies from the movie like Frankenstien, Werewolf, even Dracula
-Wepaons are highly ranged and have special meaningsTHE BAD:
-Most movie experinces like becomming a Werewolf are left out in the game
-Story is short
-not that many enimies in one level SUMMARY:
This is one of the very few games that are actually good when they center around a movie. Many weapons and upgrades are useable, like Crossbow, and the Tojo Blades, the upgrades include Holy Water and Heavy Bullets.There are MANY enimies that are in each level. Unlike most games, how there are usually only one or two types of enimies in one level, this game has multiply races of enimies in each level. And if you think that there are only one boss, think again! Bosses can range from two to 4. Also some challenging thing lurk, like winning the level....while keeping you hat on!!! |

THE GOOD:
Great background graphics, cool storyline and who can complain about having Hugh Jackman doing the voiceover.THE BAD:
The controls can be a bit touchy at times, especially while jumping and the camera angles kind suck during battles. SUMMARY:
While this game, like any, has it's flaws, the overall gameplay is great! Never a really dull moment. I like the fact that there is always something to kill. Unlike some games (i.e. Resident Evil), if you kill everything in a room, leave, then reenter, more enemies will be there, and not necessarily the ones you originally fought. I also thought it cool that certain weapons have different effects on enemies. Some can't be harmed with the crossbow, some take the most damage with it. This game has very high replay value for me. |
