THE GOOD:
the special moves, graphics, A.I. mode, the Kumite mode.

THE BAD:
Can be frustrating.

SUMMARY:
ate this game allot higher than tekken as it is allot more realistic. The graphics on the people are about the same but the vurtua fight backgrounds are allot more detailed.
There are 13 fighters, you can train up your player, and there are many forms of realistic martial arts.

thanx for readin

THE GOOD:
Crazy depth, extremely intuitive controls, truly balanced gameplay, button mashers will invariably be destroyed by the truly skilled.

THE BAD:
No crazy special effects, but none are needed 'cuz this game is based on REAL martial arts.

SUMMARY:
WOW! I was a fan of VF back in the day, but this one tops 'em all. It's a tough game to get into (unless you played the Saturn games like me!) but stick with it. It is very rewarding, and you'll feel truly badass once you get to a decent Kumite ranking. (Bob, my Lei Fei in Kumite, is at a current ranking of Vanquisher.) Because it is impossible to be cheap, matches are true representations of skill. Go out and buy this now. RIGHT NOW! I cannot stress enough how deep this game is. You can unlock all kinds of stuff in Kumite mode, but it's mostly just different colored costumes and stupid funny hats and stuff. Nothing spectacular, but kinda cool nonetheless. Kumite's all about the...

THE GOOD:
well this game is pretty good in most fighting styles the modes and stuff they are pretty cool the character taunts are nice and the voices are done the graphics are superb and u can not get anything better than that

THE BAD:
nothing really just wish there were more moves that were magical and stuff and maybe a few weapons

SUMMARY:
well first off there is kumite mode where u go fight ai people and u can make ur own ai which is awesome
and there are some nice characters and they are creative with their own style of fighting and etc.
one of the best better than tekken for me if it just had a few more weapons like soul calibur then it would be perfect .i just had a fun time playing and after like 7 months im still playing and not in anyway bored so for those of u who dont have it yet get it!

THE GOOD:
Virtua Fighter 4...allows u to teach ur unique moves to an A.I. fighter.
The graphics blow u away, and the background scenery is awesome to fight 'round.
Also, U can have fun breakin' a wall, and kickin' ur opponent out the ring, into their death.

THE BAD:
This game lacks the online ability, which makes the title suck very quick!
Kumite goes on forever, and nothin' is gained, or saved for goin' far into it!
The arcade lacks uniquness...it mimicks Tekken in that way!

SUMMARY:
Genre:
figthin', action

Overall Summary:
Although the game pretty much sucks..it is fun to learn many moves with one character, and beat all of ur friends. This is anotha' game that only extreme gamers should find awesome!

Overall Ratin'
This title deserves a ratin' of... 2.3

THE GOOD:
The gameplay has improved. Everything is good. Including the great detailed characters.

THE BAD:
Nothing. It's is one of the best Fighting games out there.

SUMMARY:
This game is one of the best fighters ever created. It is very detailed and very entertaining. The graphics are fantastic. And very detailed. And example of that is Akira's floating headband and other clothing that moves due to the wind effects. What I love are the controls. They are great for fighting gamers and disadvantage button mashers. Basically button mashers have to chance, they can go back to playing Street Fighter. Whats also improved is the sound and music. It sets the scene perfectly. This is a big rival for the Tekken series. Watch out Namco, Virtua Fighter is gaining ground. A definite buy for fighting game lovers.

THE GOOD:
-Arcade Mode
-Versus Mode
-The Moves
-The Charachters
-The Graphics
-The Music
-Variety of Rings

THE BAD:
-A.I. Mode
-Charachters Have Too Many Moves
-Weak Storyline, Too Short

SUMMARY:
This game is a great mode for brawling against your buddies in 12 or so interactive battle arenas. This game can definetley compare with Tekken 4 or even MK4. Really fun Arcade Mode, which is all you have to win the game, basically. However, it has a lot of replay value, with so many charachters to choose from. You can have endless fun with your friends in Versus Mode. The graphics are great and show no glitches, and the music is really cool.

A bad part is the charachters have so many moves. It's not easy to memorize them all, especially Vanessa's. Giving the Charachters only about 15 or so moves it would have simplified the game and made it a bit more fun. But the average charachter has over 50...

THE GOOD:
EVERYTHING

THE BAD:
WEAPONS

SUMMARY:
This game is the ultimate in fighting games. It is entertaining to the last detail. It will entertain you and give the gameplay that MK: Deadly Alliance and dare i say even Tekken 4 lacked. The graphics are stunning down to Akira's floating headband. The controls are fine tuned for fighting game lovers and discourage button mashers the best they can. An experienced fighter will take down a "masher" 99/100 times. Also the sound sets a great tone for the game. I personally like weapons in fighting games but I can't take away for that. The best fighting game for PS2. And Soul Caliber for Dreamcast stands in its way for the title for best fighting game ever.

THE GOOD:
the graphics, motion, blah, blah, blah, ect.

THE BAD:
lack of cheats, sudden death just isn't that great...more characters, and a more smooth air combo attack.

SUMMARY:
now i'm not a virtual fighter fanatic. when i bought the ps2 (a little late-when it cost $100 less) this was the first rental game i got. at first it's great, later it's ok, and so on. about the third day i got really frustrated about the game play. yes graphics are good but what really gets me mad is the lack of movement. it's not tekken 4.

people who have played tekken series before know what i mean. if only tekken 4 had a tag option (with more characters ofcourse), it'll be the best game ever.
now i don't owe any games except for tekken tag, and i have to say that it's better and easier to learn combos on tekken than it vf. now don't get me wrong, i like both game. it's just that i'm more into tekken that's all.
fighting games need more...

THE GOOD:
Characters

THE BAD:
everthing else

SUMMARY:
The game is slow paced and boring, it doesn't even compare to tekken, tekken would wipe the floor with this out dated sequel that few people want, it's an either love it or hate it game i cn't stand the sight of this pathetic attempt to keep up with modern gamers needs, it fails in the fun department more than anything and the graphics still look kinda square, i wasted £3.75 to rent this game and i regretted it deeply i played it for about 5 minutes and was bored i urge you not to buy this.
