Wild ARMs: Alter Code F

Graphics: For those loyal fans familiar with the original Wild Arms, this is nothing short of a huge graphical overhaul. Gone is the nostalgic 2D sprites that helped cultivate its niche fan base and in its place are lackluster PS2 graphics that look like they were borrowed from a first-generation PS2 title. Don't get me wrong, they are very pleasant and easy on the eyes but this far into next-gen console era they sure could have made them look a lot prettier. And the CGI cut scenes are testament to that verbatim. They are extremely bland and the character animation is chunky and awkward. There's definitely room for improvement.

Control: A seamless menu system and traditionally straightforward controls. Exactly what you'd expect from an RPG.

Storyline: The story as a whole has remained the same apart from a few twist and turns to mix things up a bit, refreshingly enough. I wouldn't have had a problem with a word for word storyline from the original but the new...
