THE GOOD:
Two specials
Full entrances
More wrestlers(good choices expect for dean Maleko and Crash)
Better Grapchis(for it time)

THE BAD:
Un-Updated wrestlers Dean-retired and crash was injured for like 5 months before the game even came out.
Grapchis could have been better but for the time was okay.
Commetary was crap. Blah Blah Blah. It was one of the worst things in the game if you ask me.

SUMMARY:
The game is a okay game to get. I am going to try and get Smackdown 1,KYR,JBI,SYM. For Christmas I am going to try and get all of these and then when HCTP comes out on Greatest hits I will get that. The genral price on this game is $10.00 to $20.00 dollars well worth it. Well this game is okay with wrestlers but could have had better wrestlers and grapchis. It did have great entrances though.

THE GOOD:
Up to 8 characters on screen at once
Two finishing moves for each character now
Interaction backstage

THE BAD:
Moves starting to become complex

SUMMARY:
This game is the sequel to SmackDown! 2 Know Your Role and there was yet another of The Rock’s catchphrases on the end. This was the first game of the series to be on the PS2 and as such the graphics and other things have been vastly improved because there is now the hardware to use it. As always, the objective is to pin your opponent’s shoulders down to the mat for a three count or to make them submit using a submission move.

The number of wrestlers in this game has gone down since SmackDown! 2, but this isn’t much of a major worry because it’s only the lower card wrestlers that have been removed, all the more famous ones are still in. The story mode has been upgraded and now has ranking systems. The top wrestlers are near the top of the rankings and others are lower down. When you create a wrestler they start right at the bottom of the rankings. There are more events and there is more interaction with other wrestlers backstage, where you have the opportunity to forge alliances and make enemies by deciding to do (or not to do) certain things. This

One of the best improvements in this game is the fact that you can now have two finishing moves. This is a major improvement because a lot of the wrestlers do actually have two finishing moves. This also allows you to have a finishing move for two different positions or simply two different ones for one place. It really is only a pretty minor change to the game but it is one of my favourite ones. Along the lines of moves, there are now two levels of “grogginess” when you face your opponent. This basically allows you to have 4 more grapple attacks than in the previous game.

You still have the option to change the stables and make your own ones up. The pre-set alliances in this game are slightly different to the ones in the last one because the alliances in the TV shows had altered a bit. They are accurate up to when the game was being finalised for production but since then things could have changed and they certainly have changed from when this game was released to now in the TV shows. I used to try and keep my stables up to date with what was going on at the time as best I could which sometimes involved dividing up long standing pairs.

The fact that now 8 wrestlers can be on screen at once makes for frantic action at times. Doing 8 man Battle Royals means there is a lot happening at once. But without a doubt the mode that the increase in players helps is the Royal Rumble. Now with double the participants in the ring at once it is much more like the real thing and very entertaining. This also allows for tag team matches with three people on each side instead of two and also allows for more people in most types of matches. For me, more people equals more fun. There are a wide variety of matches to choose from and with double the players on screen now, it means that even matches that were there before are more interesting, such as Battle Royals and table matches.

One problem I had with this game was that things were starting to become complex. Blocking was no longer a case of simply pressing a button, there were different button presses to counter punches and grapples but before it was all in one. I don’t like this as it means you have to anticipate what manoeuvre your opponent will do and on the hard difficulty it can become frustrating when you guess wrong.

Apart from that this was an excellent game and was converted from the PSX very well and blows the doors off all the other wrestling games around at the time. The fact that THQ are onto the sixth version of this game now just proves how popular this series is and how much is being done correctly.

THE GOOD:
Graphics were drastically improved (at the time), Season dwarfs KYR by a long shot. you could preview titantron music and videos.

THE BAD:
ALL OF THE SOUND. Commentary by Michael Cole and Tazz was about as good as Homer Simpson DRUNK, take that as you may, the music was very very generic, imcomplete roster, Dean Malenko?!?! Crash Holly?!?! Season was waay too short, I mean it was like 3 nights!

SUMMARY:
SUMMARY:
Just Bring It when it first came out (I bought it on the first day) was a drastic improvement over KYR it boasted many new things, like previewing Titantrons, FULL Entrances and commentary, even though it was really bad. The roster was very bad, at the time Dean Malenko was retired for at least 4 months, Crash at the time was injured. Also at the time it would've been nice to play as the Alliance Superstars. Well it's on greatest hits now, so If you really don't want to get the vastly superior Smackdown 4: Shut Your Mouth or the ABSOLUTELY PERFECT HCTP... this is the way to go I guess....

THE GOOD:
The moves i think are quite good but every wrestler hase the same personality in the ring.

THE BAD:
Story mode can get a bit boring at times.

SUMMARY:
It is a great game but i think you shouldn't have to work you're arse off to unlock a few dudes and some arena's.

THE GOOD:
Graphics and the create a wrestler section.

THE BAD:
The story mode, and there needs to be more weapons.

SUMMARY:
This game is such an improvement on smack down 2, the graphix, the caw mode and some of the new match types just rock.
I found the story mode far to short and after a while very boring. There are to many reversals on this version of smackdown. Theres not enough stuff to unlock and not enough wreslters that are up to date at least for its time. Theres also not enough different types of weapons.
The caw mode is so easy to use and has great results, but I think smackdown 4 is much better and I would recomend you buy that instead.

thanks for reading my reveiw

THE GOOD:
Everything is good about it

THE BAD:
Need longer season mode

SUMMARY:
In Smackdown 1 and 2 they have a very long season mode this is the only Smackdown that doesn't have a long season mode. It has all these good graphics and animations and stuff. they need more wepons. I give it a 4.9 it also needs more characters. more kinds of matches

THE GOOD:
The list would be far too long.

THE BAD:
Hair parts are now a single part, as opposed to the mainpart-front part (bangs, etc.)-back part (ponytail, etc.) system of old.

SUMMARY:
This game is excellent. After getting myself hyped on the details of the game for an entire week on a constant basis, I still found this game to exceed my expectations. The upgrades are fantastic. For example, in SmackDown! 2, it took me an hour to make a wrestler in Create-a-Wrestler (CAW) mode. Now, it takes me three hours (!) because of all the customizations, such as Face Morph, and an option that allows you to animate your own Walking style, Running style, Post-match taunt and more.

Really, it's quite worth it. Because I don't own a PS2 myself, but I know someone who does, I play it every weekend-- which means I have many less oppurtunities than most will have with this game, and yet I still think it's worth the money.

Really. Get it. Even if you're loyal to the traditional-rule-all style of No Mercy in them' N64 days, you'll be pleasantly suprised by the revamped controls.

THE GOOD:
nice TLC matches, loads of wrestlers, CAW mode is great!refere in all matches!

THE BAD:
BAD commentary(play by play),No battle for the belts in multiplayer mode, short season mode, wrestlers get never tired!

SUMMARY:
wwf smackdown is a nice game with the 8 wrestlers in the same ring!some new characters and 2 different finnishing moves is awsome. But for a PS2 we expected better graphics and multiplayer mode could be better if we could deffend titles just like in smackdown 2.
But a great fun that it will keep tou on your screen for a long period!im waiting for wwe smackdown 4.
