A good x-files game? | 4.5 0 comments |

The X-files Resist or serve is a great conversion from show to video game. The thick engaging story that never lets go of you, continues in resist or serve. Fitting into the shows timeline as 3 lost episodes Mulder and Scully head to Red Falls Colorado to investigate a series of abnormal murder case's that keep appearing. Upon arriving in Red Falls they discover there is more going on here then just some odd murders, but how far does it go? You must get this game to find out what happens but believe me, it is well worth it. You can look forward to the right at home Game-play mechanics of Resident Evil/Silent Hill, as well as very impressive graphics and sound. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson (among others) have been so kind as to lend there voices to Vivendi Universal as the voices of Mulder and Scully. All this at a mere $30 price tag, what more could you possible want? So go out to your local video-game shop and grab this title, turn out the lights and get ready for a dark and intense survival horror experience. The truth is out there!

THE GOOD: Graphic's, weapon's, gameplay, Voice overs, Really like an X-File's episode!THE BAD: Some camera angles, but you get used to it! SUMMARY: Awesome game, I seen it on the shelf and wondered if I should buy it before I rented it, so I gave it a shot, and it was even better than I expected. It's kinda like Resident Evil, or Silent Hill. Great story line, keeps you wondering what's gonna happen next. I'm glad I bought this game, it's nice you can be either mulder or scully, and the two mesh together throughout the game. Mulder and Scully take note's as you progress, so you can find out they're thought's on the situation, and it helps you along the way. Scully get's to do autopsy's, how cool is that. I'd recomend that if your a huge X-File's fan like me, you'd buy this game! |

| just like playing an actual episode of the show. great storyline, good chilling scenes. perfect. It has cool things you can do, like with Scully, you can do an autopsy on a dead body. Both characters have different storylines, and they run simaltaneous to each other. Only problem I had is with Mulder. It is not exactly clear on how to continue in his storyline. Scully, it is pretty clear on how to advance. For example, with Scully, you will come along and find a gate with a heavy bolt on it. A few feet ahead, you will find heavy bolt cutters. But with the minimum problems I have had with it, it is still a great game. After playing the game, it makes me want to go and watch the seasons on DVD again. Hope this helps you in deciding if you want to buy it. In my opinion it is worth it big time. |
