MotorStorm: Pacific Rift

THE GOOD:
- Great Graphics
- Intense "on the edge" Gameplay
- Plenty of tracks, with great variety
- Excellent and refined online experience

THE BAD:
- Some vehicles handle and behave erratically
- Strange computer AI
- Crashes are far too common, and tracks can get confusing.

SUMMARY:
Motorstorm, the furious PS3 racer is back with a pacific twist. Instead of dreary desert racing, racers have been dropped onto a deserted pacific island with diverse environments, and told to race. There's places with plenty of jumps and huge airtime, water heavy environments, Lava pits, and muddy swamps. Each one requires the player to opt a different style of racing, and some races are downright brilliant. But unfortunately, pacific rift can also be a frustrating racer at times, and many players either love or hate the gameplay, there's isn't really an in between.

SUMMARY:
This game truly deserves the title Lunatics Unite!, a phrase taken from the back cover of the case. For the uninitiated, MotorStorm and now its sequel, MotorStorm Pacific Rift, are essentially Mad Max shrinkwrapped into a racing game and given an extra injection of testosterone.
