Interesting story telling and great cut-scenes.
Feel like fighting in the real jungles.
Nice weapon switching system and vareity of great weapons.
Smart AI and amazing graphics overall.

THE BAD:
Gameplay is tougher than a coffin nail.
Need a lot patience and determination to win this game.
Replayability is a bit low.
Graphics Frame rates suffer sometimes.

SUMMARY:
Introduction of Turok!!!
Turok on the PS2 was a real failure but this time Turok really rocks on the PS3 and give you a lot of satisfying moments with the T-Rex and other dinosaurs. If you are a fan of Dino Crisis, you will also like Turok. The gamplay cannot be compared with Dino Crisis but Turok is as equally enjoyable as Dino Crisis!!

Game Type. (Action FPS with good story).
This game is mainly suitable for action shooters who have a lot of patience because this one is tougher than any other FPS around the market. But don't be scare, its easy weapon menus and great gameplay should appeal to new comers alike!!

Graphics. 3.8 out of 5.
First of all, the graphics is not execellent but great and you will find leafy and authentic jungle environments for dino- killings and variety of dinosaurs including the T-Rexs will provide the candy for your eyes. The close environments are a little bit fuzzy and sometimes the overall game's frame rates suffer a bit when you are moving fast. But that is not the major problem at all.

Game's Story. 4 out of 5.
The story line is perfect and take the gamers to the end with cinematic tense moments and cut-scenes which are quite great. In my opinion, even the Resistance, Fall of Men does not have the storyline as good as Turok!! By far, Turok is the unique FPS with great story telling for all action gamers. This game can even be remaked as a movie because of its interesting story.

Sounds. 4 out of 5.
The sounds of game are also nice but lack of vibration on the PS3 controller means lack of simultaneous action with big sound. But it will be fixed soon later with the Dual Shock 3.

Gameplay. 3.9 out of 5.
The gameplay is really difficult, the AI are also smart enough to flank you from behind and they also use tactical strategies to take you down at any moment. This game is not run-and-gun, you have to use all of your five senses to stay alive in any level. Unlike other FPS games, Turok does not have health packs for player at all. If you are exposed to an enemy's attacks more than three or four seconds and you are dead in this game. It is that tough!!! Believe me, you have to cover behind walls or rocks to recharge your health and you have to use clever defensive positions in this games a lot, believe me, this is one hell of a tough game. Nevertheless, if you have an unassailable soul, you can beat this game eventually.

The game's AI is amazing, they really have smart brains particularly in the closed areas fighings and sometimes, at some points, you have to die at least ten times or twenty times (for inexperineced FPS gamers) to figure out the way to accomplish the task!!!

The weapon choices are really amazing. You have to choose from shotgun to Chaingun and even an advanced RPG. My personal favourite weapon is the kinfe which is the most effective and quickest weapon in the entire game.

The online multi-player is not bad either. My personal dislike is that, the replayability of game is a bit low. Once your are finished this game you only get the harder difficulty and no cinema options for CG viewings and extra missions or Boss Fights. However, you can replay any level from load screen upon completion of this game.

Conclusion.
Ultimately, Turok is not the one for faint hearted people. It needs a lot of patience and determination but once you play Turok, you can't complain about the hard gameplay because you will like the graphcis and story telling of this game. The cinematic gameplay experinece is also great enough for your hard-earned cash. At last, my final comment is that, you would have to be fool to miss this fantastic full-action FPS game. Must play for action fans.
