Viking: Battle For Asgard

If you are familiar with Creative Assembly (creators of the total war series) you may be expecting another real time strategy but no, CA have taken it upon themselves to create a hack and slash action hit for the next gen consoles: Viking. The game is based on Nordic myth and Viking conflict with you situated in the middle.

Viking is set in a mythic land of Midgard based on Norse mythology. Midgard is inhabited mainly by the Viking warriors who serve their Norse Gods who reside in Asgard. There has been a recent falling out in Asgard leading to the raising of Hel's (the daughter of the treacherous Loki) Legion, a ferocious army of the mutated undead. Hel wishes to slay all the Gods and seize Asgard for her own. You assume the role of Skarin, a formidable warrior who attacked by the Legion.
