JayBee83 Aug 22, 2007 This game was easy. Lack of players was a bit disappointing too. For example in say.. tigerwoods golf... As your moving up in the rankings you get to play agains some characters that are as fictional and fun as your own creation but in virtua tennis you'[ll be playing Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer right from the off. At rank 300 you might not be expecting to do too well but when you end up beating them 2 games to love without them so much as scoring a point against you your left wondering where the challenge is going to come from. This was a bit disappointing given the PS3's potential. There are also little things that annoyed me. Your players name comes up on the scoreboards at the various courts around the world as 'player 1' not whatever you entered it as. The player editer is.... pretty basic at best.. there is no online play, its just flawed. Saying all this, once you start playing the big guns at a higher level the level of enjoyment does go up somewhat. As your own player increases in ability you can really start to taylor his/her skill in training to suit your prefered style of play. You could have an Agassi, Ivanisevic.. any sort of player you like.... so long as you dont mind them looking almost facially identical on account of the weak editor. In short once your p;laying friend, or against com at a high level its great fun. It misses the online facility hugely and there is much tedium involved before your career in the game really takes off. I give it a 5/10
