SUMMARY:
Although this game was originally maid in the Super Nintendo Entertainment System console, SquareSoft decided to make it as well for the Playstation (PSX) console giving it another chance for the gamers of today and tomorrow to play once more. Few things were change from the original SNES version such as bugs and a few new graphics were added. What did change is that it transformed from a catridge for SNES to a CD for Playstation. Although this game has the Super Nintendo Entertainment System graphics, it still continues to be the game that's fun to play because of its impacting graphics and story lines! The story lines were organized so perfect that you wouldn't stop playing this game and you would play this game over and over again withought getting bored! Each of the many endings you can unlock have there own story lines and they are very intersting to watch. You won't get bored watching the endings over and over again! The map, well it might be a little bit dificult to handle at first but once you get use to it all you will want to be doing is walk around the towns, mountains, forest, etc. It doesn't stop there with the maps! There is more to it but one simply map because you can travel in many diffrent time(s) and ages taking you back to the past or to the future (the maps change by time goes by)! There are many characters to choose for your party and secret characters as well. Each and every one of the characters has there own characteristics and own magic/techniques. There are over 100 monsters and main monsters to fight with making this game very interesting to battle in and you won't get bored in a battle. The battles are organized and are nearly completely the same as the battles that are in FinalFantasy IX (4). The music is New Age and is fun to hear it. Why by a New Age CD when we can just pop in the Chrono Trigger CD and hear the music from the game! What a trully liked about this game is that there are over than 300 items, weapons and armor that we can buy or sell and equip/use! This game can be compared to FinalFantasy X (10) because they are both interesting to play, have over 200 magic techniques and both have excellent story lines. This game can be consider one of the most well developed games that SquareSoft ever created!
Maybe I consider this game perfect in all ways but like everything, it contains some defects (darn). Possibly the main defect is that it sometimes buffers. There are a few glitches that might mess up your gaming progress. The game sometimes freezes after you beat the main boss! Well, nothing is perfect in this world but this game nearly reached to its perfection of the gaming history.
