THE GOOD:
when it came the graphix were brill they may not seem it now but this game is a great classic. the game play rocks the chases are fun and entertaining.

THE BAD:
you cant get out of the car to steal other vechiles and when playin it runs slow for a tiny bit and you cant run people over.

SUMMARY:
This was a great game kinda like vice city is to us today the cars are a bit squared but they are still very detailed. When you ride on the path the pedestrians run through walls to get away and when you do catch them they just dissapear or the car goes through them and they are still standing. The police chases rule but there is no way to get rid of the cops.
overall this was a good game during its time now its not that good, I would have to say driver 2 i a far better game as you can get out of the car and steal other vechiles so i would say driver 2 is the best buy from the two.

SUMMARY:
I was glad to pick this game up when I did way back when. People call it terrible because it lags sometimes, it doesn't lag that much at all.

The graphics were great for it's time and I guess that's why it was laggy at times. >_< One other downside was all the roads were square, meaning no curved roads so alot of things looked the same.

The locations were great especially Miami, although it was quite confusing when you went down a few of the bridges because once you went on it there was no way back.

Even though this game is old you should pick it up and also Driver 2, it's sequel. They are both great games no matter what people say.

THE GOOD:

Lacks replay value, gameplay lacks, and GTA2 and 3 are much better.

SUMMARY:
Well I first got this game thinking it was like GTA2. Well in some ways it was but it wasn't as good. It did have better graphics but your only limited to taking a car and driving. So I got bored pretty fast. If you want to try this game I recommend renting it first.

I think this is the best PS criminal or gangster game out. I dont have number 2 but i still think number 1 is the best. It is fun especially if you like getaway games. When you first by this game (people who dont have it) you should get used to the controls by using take a ride on the main screen then you probally want to start Undercover and learn more into the storyline.

This is probably the game that everyone always talks about being cool if it were to be made, having high speed chases with cops, well it is finally here!

The game has you goto various cities performing missions that are all in a big story with a grand finale in New York.

The levels, and music, and gameplay is so easy and fluid you'll want to play this title over and over again, and with the unique directors edit you can make your own chase movies, how sweet is that

It's a brilliant idea: Conduct any number of suspicious carrelated activities in locations modeled after four-real world cities.Throw in one of the most entertaining driving engines around and yo've got a truly exeptional game.Sure it's a bit unpolished,but you'll love it anyway.

driver is a splended game like any chasing game driver is really grat the plot is about a cop called tanner who gives in his badge to find out the whereabouts of a bad guy called castdi this involes do illegal things picking up gangster etc the way this runs is in 3d not like gta never played proprely shame this wasnt like carmaggenn where you had to mow down people sick but fun the poilce are a annoying but funny thing as they get fed up with you commiting obscene acts right off to pay it cheerio!!!!!!!
