THE GOOD: There is so much good to this game, the list would be endless compared to most games, but to point out the one thing that stands out among all RPG is the complex and deep story. If you think reading a book is better then any movie, well, in this game you get the best from both worlds!
THE BAD: There is absolutely nothing wrong with this game. this game is a must for those who are fan's of RPG's, and those who are a great fan of FF series, this game is a must. But considering this is a 7 year old game, new players complain about the graphic. But considering the age of the game (more then 7 years), the graphics was amazing then, with detailed FMV's to smooth controls. I recommend to see pictures of the game if you're having 2nd thought's about buying this game because of the graphics. ; )

Graphics The graphics seem dated but fit the game very well. The in and out of battle graphics are totally different. The in battle graphics are smooth and flow very well. The summons have to be seen to be believed.
Game Play Nothing special but it is smooth and very intuitive. The mini games are fun and break up the pace of the game.
Battle System Basic RPG, except the magic system. Each spell is in a "Materia." Materis are these little colored orbs that will gain their own experience and level up. At certain levels materia will gain new spells or number of uses per battle as is with the summons. There are also "Limet Breaks" that happen when your character has taken enough damage. The battle interface is smooth with no hang ups.

It's not anything like Silent Hill, Hard and basically Straight-forward, Final Fantasy VII is tough, but not impossible, complicated but stil not mind boggling.

SUMMARY: I love the story,the chracters,and how they act.It's a very funny game.with people doing wierd things depending on what actions you take or what you say.The battle system is great with turned-based action,And it's kida quick finger action too!The three dics collection makes it more of a game with the story.3 dics with a long story should keep any RPG fan busy.Also to ad the sound track is fantasic,and the movie scenes too! The game starts out fast,then slows down abit,but after an hour or two the game gets on track with everything.Also in some situations you can skip past visions,but I recamend that you don't because it a intertwineing story.Just don't skip stuff is what I'm saying.Hope this helps you with FF7

SUMMARY: This is a masterpiece of a game. It was the only reason that I ever got involved in RPGs. I bought it cause I was seeing it advertised everywhere. At first I was REALLY disappointed with it because I was new to the RPG world and Gameplay. But I decided that I would try and get into it and after not too long I was hooked. I loved the Characters and how they all interacted with each other. In my opinion Final Fantasy 7 is the game that any gamer should start off with. Definately an awesome game.
SUMMARY: I'll break the game down into five separate categories based on how I rated it.
MUSIC: Final Fantasy in the past has had tunes you either like, or you don't like. You had the typical town music that sounded like chimes just repeating themselves over and over, or you had the battle music that was, lets just say not good for repetition. In FF7, the music was all but a lame. The battle music (especially the Boss music) helped the fights flow, and even keep you absorbed in them. Of course there is the ever-famous Aeris's Theme, which adds a hint of drama and sadness into the mixture. I think that the music director of FF7 really earned a bow with this one. However, like we will see with all other FF's in the future, this one really does not have a theme song of its own. (i.e. "Eyes on Me", "Melodies of Life", "Suteki Da Ne") Even w/o this, FF7 still sets the par for future FF...

SUMMARY: Where should I start? I mean there are so many outstanding things about this game it's quite difficult to pick them. As one of the few games to live up to the hype, Final Fantasy 7 shines as the single greatest RPG ever made. Gameplay, Music, Storyline everything included in one solid package.
When you pop this baby into your PSX the first thing you'll notice is the visuals. The graphics are phenomenal, nearly eye-popping. The spells are amazing, nothing can compare to the sight of Ifrit burning all your foes on the screen into a crispy cinder. Unlike other RPGs, magic comes in the form af tiny balls called materia, putting these into slots in your weapons gives command of that type of magic. THE GOOD: Nearly everything. It has tons of depth, great characters, sound, battles, you name it. I have to say the best thing about this game is its story. It can be a bit confusing at times, but it's one that will make you skip meals to keep playing if you can manage to keep up with what's going on.
THE BAD: The graphics. I probably shouldn't be saying this since the game came out in 1997, but I feel that nothing is perfect, and this is honestly the only flaw that I can think of other than a few minor mistranslations, such as "This guy are sick."
SUMMARY: Final Fantasy VII is the best game that I have ever played in my entire life, and believe me, I've played too many. If you're a fan of RPGs, this is definitely a game for you. I even rank it above the newer Final Fantasy games, such as Final Fantasy X, so if you don't own this game, and you come across a copy of it, be sure to pick it up.

THE BAD: ummmm...the play control on the PC version bothered me, but nothing otherwise.
SUMMARY: Final Fantasy 7 is by far Playstation game ever, if not the greatest RPG of all time. The twisted plot still rises in conversations amongst friends, and multiple jokes about Aeris are curently made. If you love Squaresoft, RPG's, or even video games, FF7 is a classic you must own. Perfect score.

SUMMARY: This gae is absolutly amazng and i could talk about all the qualities for hours! the story line is the most involving, emotional, original and creative i hav ever seen in a movie, play or game! You care about the characters and want to know all about them. the fights are amazing. graphics geat(for playstation 1). the world is huge and there is a lot to keep you busy with. lots of extras like raise your own chocobo and gamble to win money at the golden saucer GREAT! Sephiroph plays around with you in the story which will mak you ever put the game down. Once you see omnislash and knights of the round you will see why they are so special. Buy this game if you havent got it and you will not be dissapointed!!! perfect!
