SUMMARY:
Here comes the king of all games ! If you have not played it then u have certainly missed something in this beautiful world.Here you play Claude Speed who is new in the city and is looking for jobs to earn money.There r some gangs in this city and u must get a job from one of them to earn.U have to go to a radio station to get a job......where u will be given a briefing of ur assignment.And if u complete the job u get decent money otherwise the WRATH (of a gang)! So beware folks.This is an addictive game.Alongwith Caesar 3 this is my all time favt game.
I wud describe this game in 3 words

2)ADDICTIVE
3)SIMPLE.

ROCKSTAR HAS SHOWN US HOW U CAN GET THE BEST OUT OF 2 D GRAPHICS.

THE GOOD:
The respect meter
The top down view isn't that bad

Graphics and sound

SUMMARY:
I like the GTA games. There is a lot of fun to be had with them. The respect meter is a favorite feature of the game that I wish GTA 3 and Vice City had. If you want to get a job, you better start killing some gang members. Their rivals will give you a job to do. The top down view isn't terrible and helps you see the effet of the damage you are causing (especially with the flame thrower). The graphics of the game aren't really that impressive. There is only so much you can do with a top down view, but the cartoony graphics do help out a little. The sound could have been better too.

Bottom Line
Good clean fun or Bad Dirty fun depending on your point of view.

I do not have a list of good and bad becasue it is only a PS game so its hard for em to think of any other than just the obvious.

This game is in overhead view and contrary to what many people think its not really all that bad. Youget used to it pretty fast.

The main point of the game is to move on to the other two cities or islands or whatever and gain enough respect in order to do missions for the various gnags.

You are a street thug and go to payphones to get missions for gangs. After you gain an ammount of respect you can do higher up missions for them and make more money that you neeed to get to the other cities.

The missions are just normal type criminal things. Kill him, blow this up. The weapons are as generic as they get. Pistol, machine gun, flamethrower, molotovs, grenades and rocket launcher. And you can puch people as well.

I recomend this game, especially since you can get it very cheap on ebay.

SUMMARY:
I have to say that after playing GTA 3 and 4 I found this game dissapointing. The cars are cool, some fast and slow, there are radio stations in the cars, and you can rig your car with machine guns, explosives, etc. You must earn repect for gangs to get jobs.

But those are the only good things. The camera angle is horrible, and the game is in 2D. It's hard to tell the people are actualy, well, people, and not aliens. The graphics and storyline are horrible and make no sense. The cops are easy to outrun, you can find a machine gun in any gang hideout. The people and cops are stupid. The game uses too many unneccesary and stupid sounding cuss words. The missions are...

THE GOOD:
Apart from a graphics improvement, they are alot more missions and a wide range of weapons

THE BAD:
Again, you can't very much see where you are going, but that dose't cause to much of a problem

SUMMARY:
GTA 2 Is set in the future, about two - four weeks in the future. A new added extra is the memories of the ruthless gangs, the gangs now have memories displayed at the top called a Respecto-meter, in which you do missions for one gang the respect for that gang will go up, but respect for other gangs will go down. Two more extra wanted levels have been added, to make your life more difficult, five stars and the F.B.I. are on the hunt and at six stars the ARMY has been sent in to put a stop to your killing, but the fourth star has changed, because the S.W.A.T. TEAM will be on to you

This game is a must have to go along with your other GTA titles.

THE GOOD:
Complete freedom to do whatever you wan't. Also theres a nice soudtrack!

THE BAD:
Theres only one bad thing that I have found. Its that to save you need 50,000 dollers but thats not to hard to get. the thing is then you have to FIND THE SAVE POINT!! and thats really hard because the levils are so huge that its hard to find one area.

SUMMARY:
Over all this is one great psx game and know they came out with a boxed set of gta,gta2,and gta Londen 1969 for only 30.00. Thats how I got my copy and the other gtas are a great additoin to a gameing libary!

THE GOOD:
Tons of missions,Good Way To Releive Anger,Awsome Missions,Police Chases Are Really Fun,Super Funny Radio Shows, and Hijacking Cars and Shooting Loonies Is Really Fun!

THE BAD:
Graphics Suck,Hated The View

SUMMARY:
An Awsome Game!Way Better Than The First. Is fun whether u want to complete missions, Be chased by the police, or just have fun goin out an shooting inocent people. Guns and Cars are Much better than the first GTA and Gangs are pretty cool to(except for Loonies),

Very fun gameplay, lots of cars, lots of weapons, and lots to do lol.

THE BAD:
Graphics lacked.

SUMMARY:
This game is so much fun. I remember when I first got it I couldn't put it down. You can do almost anything, shoot pedestrians, blow up cars, and shoot at the pigs. The graphics may have been bad but the fun gameplay makes up for it. Remember respect is everything. I recommend everyone to buy this game.

this game is one of the funnist game that i have ever played. its addictive to kill the cops with a flame thrower. you can steal cars and generally have fun. there are lots of gangs and tons of missions. this game has lots and lots of replay value. it is a sumple must get.

samething as GTA 1, only the graphics changed and only 3 districts

SUMMARY:
the game really is good for GTA fans and has a lot of mafia zones...u can really enjoy the game once u like it but on the other hand there are still bad stuff in it...i still like it when u get paid to kill ppl, steal cars...those are the greatest missions....its a game worth buying
