Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

THE BAD:
Simple... too simple!

SUMMARY:
An enjoyable game for younger kids, but older gamers, even fans of the Harry Potter books, will find this game far too simple - it's basically running around back and forth between huge levels, and if you have read the first book, the story is also nothing new.

A good game, but just above average. If you like Harry Potter books, buy it, but if not, then this is not a particularly good game for you.

THE BAD:
The voices where not very good,very short and easy,left out a few things from the book

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone for Playstation,is a great game for those of you who love Harry Potter.The story in the game stays very close with the books,the characters look farily well,espically Harry.I just love how you get to roam around Hogwarts,and see everything.It's interesting how you learn the spells,then how you use them.I just didn't like the voices,they didn't do a very good job at them.The game is also very short,but hey sometimes that's good for those of you out there that don't wanna spend alot of time on games.It's also pretty easy.So if you liked the book and movie, your sure to like this game.Spend a few hours on it, and you should have it beat.Ever wonder what it's like to play Quidditch? Well here's your chance!

THE BAD:
Glitch in the game which means I've had to start all over again....

SUMMARY:
Just recently bought this game, as it has been reduced in price in the UK (refused to pay £35 for it!). Having read all the books and seen the film, and read various reviews on the game, I was expecting it to be disappointing. I have been very happy with it so far, but I think some parts of it will be too difficult for small children. I have struggled with some of it and I'm a grown up! :-)

The story does contain things that happen in the book/film and all your favourite characters from these are in the game.

Some people have criticised the lack of a "jump" button when moving around, but this hasn't bothered me at all. I actually found this a help when chasing Peeves the ghost across the roof beams, as the jumps are automatic and you don't need to worry about when to press a "jump" button.

One of the best things is being able to play Quidditch matches, these are quite exciting and the weather conditions change also. When it's dark/raining it is actually easier to see the golden snitch!

I haven't actually finished the game yet, as I am having to start from the beginning again. Make sure you don't make the same mistake I did! When you have defeated the troll in the girls toilets (with Ron), and you have enough red beans, make sure you don't go back into the Forbidden Corridor, otherwise you will end up locked in and unable to get out.

After I had defeated the troll, I wanted to save my game so went looking for a "save game" area, and went back into the corridor where I had defeated the troll. I saved the game and afterwards discovered all the exit doors are locked and I can't get out. Because I had saved my game there is nothing I can do except start all over again!

Apart from this "glitch" I am happy with the game and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in Harry Potter.

THE BAD:
Game play identical to N64's Zelda, too short(i finished it in 3 and a half hours), repetitive at times, misses large chunks of orignial plot or changes things

SUMMARY:
Not too bad, good for a night in when uve nothing to do for a few hours. Not worht the asking price though. Rent it, don't buy it

THE BAD:
the bad is that right now i am up to the "escape the troll" part of the game and i out ran him but now im at the bathroom or whatever that is where there is a club and moldy pieces of wood and i go so far and it goes to the black screen with the lightning thing @ the top so i still know that i havent faited but it just stays there and i left it on there for about 5 minutes thinking it was loading something but i eventually got tired of waiting and i exited the game! do you know whats wrong with it. if you do please email me. mzdevil8813@hotmail.com! thank you very much

The only bad thing about this game is that after you beat the final boss you can't go back and get stuff.

This game was well made.The only thing I really hate about this game is that me and him have the same last name.It's so annoying to get asked if I'm related to him(it's not one bit funny at all).:-@
