THE GOOD:
Impressive for a farming game. Basically you are a young boy who comes to visit your grandfather's old farm realising that it's gone to shambles. Fortunately Mayor Thomas explains that with your help. You can repair the old farm to make it look better with crops and animals for produce. There are there are 6 types of animals you can keep at the farm. Your faithful dog who will chase away any wild dogs that may try and get any animals that may be outside on the farm. Your clucky little chickens which are easy to take care of and lay many eggs which is a good start off for selling them for money. Your cows which are happy when you give them a brushing daily. They will produce Milk for you to eat or sell. Your sheep are also happy when you brush them daily and will produce wool for you, but it takes a short while for their wool to grow back before you can sheer it off again which you can sell. Your lovely horse, it doesn't do much but you can enter your...
THE GOOD:
It's a very good game even though you might get bored sometimes, it is full of surprises. Cooking, festivals, marriage, a kid and a farm, what else could you ask for. And characters have different personalities. You can receive gifts and/or rewards in unexpected ways. And you have the help of the Harvest Sprites to make your job easy. Hey and you have a hot spring to rest and revive your energy and to boil eggs for extra money. THE BAD: SUMMARY:
THE GOOD:

its very good very 5 wives a kid a farm friends everything a gameneeds perfect! THE BAD: SUMMARY:
One of the best games I've played in a long time. Most people wont admitt its good simply because it seems childish and stupid. But its extreamly addictive and is very easy to get stuck in. Basicaly you live in a small town where you own the only farm (like all the games). It's your grandpas old farm and now its your chance to run it for yourself. You start of with hardly any money, and you have to turn the wastland into a brillinet farm...in only 3 years! You can buy up to 10 chickens and breed them, 10 cows, and 10 sheep as well as get a horse. There are festivles in the town on certain days, and you can get married and have a kid. You have to be carefull about what you do because all of your actions will effect weither people love you, or dispise. Even after you've beaten the game you can still keep playing as long as you want. The game takes a while to play through the 3 years, but its extreamly fun, one of the best games I've ever played.
You got no money to go out on a friday night, you get a carry out and... Play Harvest Moon?. This is a game which takes courage to admit you like, something you'll secretly loan to your friends and pledge them to fealty not to laugh. It's fun, addictive and repetitive in all the right places and everyone will at least attempt this game and some will enjoy it and some will defend their maturity and condemn it. I like it from time to time, when I feel like simulating a farmer that is... The Harvest Moon series has been known for being innovating and innocent and most of all - appealing to the wrong fanbase. Yes, kids may buy this game but teenagers are the ones who buy them first and even have them pre ordered. To defend this, Harvest Moon has been called "an RPG for the family" which it is not I'm afraid. It doesn't have any RPG quality about it whatsoever and if it was, then it's the worst RPG ever made. In my opinion of course. Despite that, Harvest Moon is...

THE GOOD:
The whole thing baby yeah! THE BAD: SUMMARY:
Combat, menu driven or otherwise, is forsaken in favor of real-time manual labor. Repetitive tasks are the name of the game, and the fruits of your labor make even the daily routine a gratifying experience. There are no assailants to speak of besides perhaps the weather and the occasional wild dog, allowing you to focus on the day's work. Effective management of your time is crucial to success, and all planning and tool arrangements should be done indoors, where time is halted and you're allowed a breather. Working smarter instead of harder will reap greater benefits, so upgrading your tools and hiring the seven local harvest sprites' help becomes a necessity.
Visually, Back to Nature is attractive and colorful, if not overwhelmingly impressive. The crops and animals are easy to recognize, the character models are simple and reminiscent of Playmobil toys, and the comical anime-style portraits add a touch of humor to the lighthearted feel of the game. The festivals and their...
Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is surprisingly one of the most satisfying role-playing experiences to be found on the PlayStation. Instead of following the standard flashy FMV, save the world formula, Back to Nature involves you in the day-to-day tasks of running a farm, maintaining friendships, and building a family in a not too flashy but thoroughly involving manner.
The game brings you to your grandfather's farm, which you've recently inherited, in the sleepy town where you spent your vacation ten years ago. Offered a three-year trial by the mayor and the townsfolk, it is up to you to restore the homestead to its former glory and productivity, as well as earn the admiration and affection of the citizenry. These goals go hand in hand, as the citizens provide you with additional help and greater doses of love based on how well you've rebuilt your farmlands and how often you shower them with presents. A generous neighbor does well in Back to Nature, and only the most charitable... Lowest Prices |
