THE GOOD:
A very creative weapon creation system.Making magic and mixing materials for it has been left to all of your imagination.Graphics at 3D is very good.Terrain changing system is GREAT!

THE BAD:
Fighting system is not good, sometimes you get problems about magic range and walking range. Also, when the game's graphic become both 2D and 3D(like at battle scenes),you can get problem.

SUMMARY:
In this game, you use ancient cards named Kartia that made from materials of Silk,Mithril and World Tree. You use it for several issues:Creating Phantoms, creating weapons, creating armor, making magic and else.At "Kartia",you fight with wild Phantoms and thieves called Rebels.

Two main characters(and two stories also, like Threads of Fate)are selectable:Toxa Classico(a free Knight, personal security guard of Count Shinon's daughter) and Lacryma Christi(a Shrine Warrior that is working for a corporation named Vigilance, also daughter of greatest shrine warrior Kainas Christi).

With Toxa or Lacryma, there are also second characters to help you at fight:Encrypter Troy,Trainee Knight Kun,talented magician Alana, daughter of the count(also a Kartia user)Ele,beginner Shrine Warrior Posha,Chief Knight Rimzan, adventurer and former Shrine Warrior(now an Inquirer)Bachstail, another Shrine Warrior Duran and former thief(now a Shrine Warrior)Misty. Each character has got own skills and magics.

Steering away from fighting, you can make your own equipment with Kartia by mixing scrolls, also you can create helper Phantoms by mixing scrolls again.

Actually,I put Kartia to Strategy category, but it has magic and fighting too,so people puts it to RPG category. This game is very good for playing,I advise it to everyone.

THE GOOD:
The game works off the idea of a strategy/rp. Good story, great plot twists, and charcters who annoy you or make you laugh.

THE BAD:
Graphics take a major hit as well as difficulty. By no means is the game hard to beat but trying to beat it fully is almost impossible.

SUMMARY:
Kartia is a magic that turns cards made from silk, world tree, or cloth into items that appear from apparently no where. The idea of text was new when this game was made and has had nothing similar to compare it too. Weapons, armor, acessaries, and phantoms are fully cutimiable. Phantoms are like your troops and they get stronger as they go along.
