Madden NFL 2002

THE GOOD:
The wide variety of plays on offence and defence.
The collecting of the madden cards is the best.

THE BAD:
The graphics didn't have much improvement which brought this game down in my eyes.

SUMMARY:
Overall a good game to keep you entertained and to try your friends at. I enjoyed it.

Madden is back on the Playstation for what is surely to be his last appearance. Madden fans will not be disappointed while playing the 2002 version of the game, but most would rather pass on it and get the Playstation 2 port of the game. Coming back from a bit of an off year with the 2001 game, Madden and his crew over at EA Sports had to come up with one last hurrah for this dying system.

With most of their focus on getting the PS2 game the best that it could possibly be, much of the attention that was needed to create Madden 2002, the Playstation port, was not there. This was, quite frankly, evident in much of the gameplay and graphics.

The best feature in all of the Madden games has come back, the entertainment. If Madden 2002 is your first game in the series, then you will be able to play this game for weeks on end, but for most who have already played a game, this game came out to be mediocre in comparison to his peers, and just plane horrible compared to...

THE GOOD:
this game has good graphics.

THE BAD:
madden says the same things over and over. you should be able to create all the players when you create a team.

Over all I love the game

Reacts almost exactly like real football players would react to the ball. Iv'e owned every madden game to date. [This one rocks]

I cant find anything wrong with this one.

SUMMARY:
Playing madden nfl 2002 is much harder than most of the previous renditions of the game. Very realistic, I'm a true gamer and this one is unreal.

THE GOOD:
Better graphics, and most of the 2001 draft picks like vick, tomlinson, archeleta, etc. improved kicking meter. Two minute drill is better, and training mode is very helpful

THE BAD:
almost the same controls as last years, same commentary by summerall and madden.

SUMMARY:
This game is better than last year's and is Madden's best showing yet. It still needs improvement, but the rosters are very updated, players are more detailed, and the training mode is very cool. Madden's analysis of the plays is what I like. Overall, it is a good buy for a Madden fan.

players are all way out of whack. They're either way too skinny or way too fat.

SUMMARY:
create a team is back, create player is way more in depth, graphics are still good but not better, coackes look gay, faces are all wrong on players, drafted players are retarded. 5'8" 280 lbs. lb? what the hell is up with that? its gay. Then there are gay QBs that are fast and gigantic with 45 in throw power and 85 in accuracy. IT'S GAY!!!!! I'm pissed off about spending 50 bucks on a piece of maddens crap.
