THE GOOD:
Weapons - The weapons are quite good featuring:
Pistols
Submachine Guns
Machine Guns
Rifles
and a Bazooka
Grenades

Controls - The controls of this game are excellent. They are real easy~to~use unlike other games in which you can never get used to the controls. I would say this is a huge point people need to consider.

Story Line - The story line in this game is great, It goes back to the World War One and how it was faught. The game also contains real facts which did happen in reality. This makes the missions even more better!

THE BAD:
Death - Some times It could take 6 shots from a pistol to kill one single person. Now that can be a pain! Especially for people who are new to this game. If you are taking headshots, 2 headshots would be enough to take a person out.

Graphics - The graphics aern't that great. I really think the makers of the game should have consentrated on this point.

SUMMARY:
Overall this was the best Shooting game when It first made its appearance. I still remember how people were hungry to buy this game at a time. This game deserves a 4 in my point of view. Its one of the rare playstation games which has gained popularity. The ending of the game is also great. Its really worth watching.

THE GOOD:
Graphics, gameplay, sound, EVERYTHING!!!

THE BAD:
Difficulty and some uneven levels

SUMMARY:
This game is fantastic. I love first person shooters, and I love them more when they have greath atmosphere. MOH has a great immersion factor, such as when enemies apporach, you can hear their footsteps grow louder.

The weapon selection is great, although multiplayer is simply no fun.

I did notice some levels were uneven and became extremely aggravating in length and objectives. Overall, however, the levels on the most part were great.

This game is graet, be you a fan of FPSs, WWII games, or action games, this game will do you great. The story may be a little stupid and 'who cares?'-ish in a few parts,THIS GAME IS GREAT.

Plus, I bought it for only twelve bucks at Video Game Exchange. Now I've got to fork over a few more bucks to pick up MOH: Underground to continue the PSX saga. Yumm yumm.

I was flipping through my old Playstation library and found this game on the very last page. I remembered that I never finished it, so I popped it in.

Gameplay: 9/10

Let's start off with the weaponry. All of the weapons are original weapons that could be found in World War II. Some of these weapons are the M1 Garand, Colt 45, and Thompson SMG. Like any other FPS, you basically run around and kill the enemy, which are the Nazi's in this particular game. But that's not it! In some missions, you are able to disguise yourself as a high ranking Nazi officer and infiltrate your way through enemy territories.

The AI is terrific in this game. You can't just go in and shoot like crazy, you have to play smart. You can't just go throwing a grenade because the AI will just pick it up and throw it back at you! So timing your grenade throw is important. The Nazi's will also sometimes have attack dogs. These attack dogs will play a little fetch and bring the grenade back to you.

All of the missions have plenty of assignments for you to complete before you are able to go on to the next level. After completing every successful mission, you are graded on your performance. If you did good, you may even earn a medal.

Graphics: 7/10

The graphics could have been a lot better in my opinion. Most of the game takes place at night or in dark places, so seeing is kind of tough. But overall, the graphics are beautiful and blend in with the World War II environment.

The animations of the Nazi's were great. Good animations of them getting shot and quite entertaining.

Sound: 10/10

I was not disappointed with the sound at all. The music was just fantastic because it is performed by a full orchestra. You'll hear all of the usual things that would be heard in a war. The voice acting isn't too shabby either.

Control: 7/10

The controls aren't too bad and are bearable. The buttons are fine, but there's something about them that just bothers me. Hard to explain.

Story: 8/10

You play as Jimmy Patterson, a new member of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). You've been assigned to almost impossible missions for your country against the German Nazi's. You will be assigned various missions like sneaking on to a German U-Boat and destroying it. Good luck!

Replay: 10/10

The story is pretty deep and it's a great FPS to play over and over again.

Overall: 9/10

The game really lacks multi player, but it's all good. The game should be pretty cheap now, and I recommend buying it new or used.

THE GOOD:
This game is set is world war 2, Great grahics, wide range of weapons and levels

THE BAD:
...

SUMMARY:
All you can say about this game after playing it for the first time is its mind blowing. Yes I know that this is now the third medal of honour in the series, but in this case is this game is getting better & better. In Allied Assault you find yourself killing enemies, planting bombs, spying on more people, wearing more disguises and much more, after I played if for the first time I looked up at the time and realised I had been playing for more than 5 hours without even realising, the game is highly addictive, and one of the best games I have ever played.

The game comes with a training mode, which offers to you a tutorial for basic movement, basic explosives training and basic weapon and fragmentation training. After completing this you will the get onto the better training of the game.

In the weapons training you learn how to use a selection of 5 weapons. These are the 9mm pistol, the sub machine gun, the sniper rifle, the sterol rifle and last but not least the basic hand grenade with delayed explosion.
Every weapon has its own unique use in the game; the sub machine gun is used for quick fire moments when you have to kill as many Nazi’s as possible.

The sniper rifle is good for taking out enemies from a great distance where they can’t see you and you also get to carry out the excellent headshot on a very dangerous and tedious enemy. The grenade is used in situations where you need to take out a large amount of enemies and you have a lack of weaponry, but to be efficient you will need lots of practice at throwing the grenade in the right place as not only will you miss, you will end up altering the enemy.

The Medal of Honour series have always been about providing a great atmosphere and this is the greatest example yet. No other game comes even close to this in terms of authenticity - Frontline puts you straight into the thick of things with every aspect of war accounted for - From war torn towns to soldiers screaming in agony everything is just so realistic.

The game has 18 levels split between 6 missions. After the exhausting start things begin to settle down a bit with straightforward objectives. You will find yourself going through villages and towns with a huge amount of enemies waiting for your arrival and even fully operational tanks and other vehicles. The environments are colossal and you get a lot of freedom to go about missions how you want.

One of the best aspects of the game is the sound effects. There is an overwhelming musical score, which seems to capture the feel of the game and sucks you into the atmosphere at an alarming rate. The sound effects are quite spectacular to, and the whole game gives you a true feeling of what its is real like to be fighting in a world war. You can hear planes flying over head, bombs being dropped and going off all over the place, Nazi soldiers screaming and pleading for their lives and satisfying weapon effects which I might add are also all authentic.

Another strong point of the game is its superb graphics for the scenery, the guns, yourself and your fellow game characters. If you look hard enough into the faces of the soldiers, you will begin to see facial expressions of perplexity, anticipation, rage and trepidation.

The game’s sounds are unbelievable, as you are shooting like mad, the noises that the guns and the guards make are out of this world, and it makes you feel as though you are actually in the game war.

There are a couple of down sides to the game they are that the game starts in the training mode, which if you’re not new to the medal of honour game you will find it a bit meaningless for about 5-7 minutes. However, you will get to try out some much needed target practice before playing the real game.

Also The German’s seem to known when you are creeping up on them. Either they can here the squeaking of you old wartime boots or they are clairvoyant, the designers really needed to reduce the enemy responsiveness to make it that little bit more realistic in that area. So forget trying to sneak up on these Germans, just get in there and shoot before they shoot you that seems the best strategy. Unfortunately the enemy is just too responsive and makes stealth almost impossible.

Overall, Medal of Honor: Frontline is an additive, adrenaline rush which will keep you tied to your playstation for hours, so make sure you set your alarm to let you know when you have to go to work or school as you might find your being late in.

THE GOOD:
everything

THE BAD:
nothing

SUMMARY:
medal of honor takes the art of the 1st person shooter and turns it around into the most detailed envirement and foes i have ever seen in a firts person shooter. if you liked golden eye, and you liked how the guys sort of interacted with you you will see how primitive it is. medal of honor provides the most relentless and stunning foes and enemies ever created. think you can hide? wrong! if you can see them, they can see you, and your always in range. think throwing a grenade will clear out some germans? you'll be suprised when that german runs over to the grenade, picks it up and throws it back at you...what other game offers a highly intelligent enemy like this? be careful, nazis dont like grenades and will kick them back at you. be afraid when your enemie ducks around a corner and starts firing at you by sticking his gun around not revealing his body. if you think you safe in a crawlspace, think again, turn around and you will see a german crawling after you, ready to fire. so you have a bazooka, you think your invincible, so, the enemy has bazookas too. and they're not afraid to use it! the last thing you'll know, is a trail of light coming straight at you, then its all over...take over a german mounted 50.caliber machine gun and light it up to take out large masses in your destructable envirement, crates explode, windows break, and explosives lied at the right places will destroy important machinery. not enough? how about some undercover missions in occupied terrritory? a german gets suspicious and asks you for your papers, you show him and he apologises. he turns around and you pull out you pistol and drop him with a head shot. little do you know there is a german in the next room and he saw you, he runs for the alarm and sets it off sending more germans after you, you kill him and turn off the alarm, continuing your undercover mission
i've only got one question to ask you soldier, are you ready to rise above and beyond the call of duty?

THE GOOD:
Fairly good graphics, Good Sound effects and a good level of difficulty.

THE BAD:
To hard or to easy in spots.

SUMMARY:
This is a superb game with lots of playability, there are a good many levels with a varying degree of skill required for each. Although the weapons are not as numerous as other games the ones they have are great and serve the game well. This game has Good sound effects - especially the footsteps and german talk in the distance - the graphics are not bad , some things could be more detailed though. This game also features an extensive mulitplayer arena with many secret levels and characters, some funny tid-bits can also be found if you beat the game and get the codes. All in all this game deserves one of if not the highest rating there is, obviously shown by its status on the top PSX games list. This is a must have despite the graphic flaws in the Rail Canyon Mission of the 2nd level, witch i know arent that bad but are worth mentioning. If the sequal Medal Of Honour : Underground is as good as this its a must also - anyway cya.
