When I first received Star Ocean: The Second Story as a birthday gift from my aunt I said thank you, but with an unconvincing, fake smile. I wasn't much into RPG's at the time and I had never even heard of this game. But I figured I might as well give it a try, and I thank my aunt every time I see her for giving me such an excellent game.
The game starts off by giving you a choice, one of many that you will have to make throughout the game. The first of your choices is which story you would like to partake in. STORY: 10/10
The story takes place in Expel mostly where people are worried about a meteor coming and making the planet explode. The only person they believe to be able to stop it is a unknown person called "The Warrior." But later they find a whole another thing that is about to unravel. And that is just the introduction. Twisty, lengthy, about 50-hour gameplay, a really good storyline. Perfect. Couldn't be better. You can also unlock a number of voices for the Voice Collection, that is a very fun thing to do. Plus, there are a total of 80+ endings that you can get throughtout the game...Talk about challenging! CHARACTERS: 10/10 Perfect. Every character is great that I have played. You can also play two main characters and see there different points of view, either playable character, you get invaluable help from others along your hard journey. There is a total of ten characters that can join your party.
