THE GOOD:
This game was made in 1993 and if you pick it up and play it now it will keep you going for a good month. The scenery is top class and the battles are never that easy. The bosses are always good and they are sometime extremely difficult.
There is a fabulous array of weapons and armour that you can use and there is so much too this game that you will get lost. The best aspect is the free roaming. Except for the banishment you get from a certian city there is nowhere you cant go (unless you are too weak or havent got the item etc.)

The story line is very clear. Go to all the 8 temples and restore the mana power (hmmm did they see the ocarina of time plans?)And there are many things that lengthen the game to side track you from ytour goal

This game uses the systems power really well and this is deffinatly a must have for anyone with a SNES

THE BAD:
The bad. Secret of mana is almost 15 years old and is unfortunatly starting...

THE GOOD:
Great graphics, music, length, challenge, plot, characters
Multi-player feature included

THE BAD:
Building weapon/magic skills is time consuming

SUMMARY:
Easily one of the best RPG's for the SNES. It has a unique battle system where you can freely move around to move, attack, dodge, cast magic, etc. There is also a multi-player feature where you can play with up to three different people.

Like most RPG's you get stronger by gaining EXP, and gold for buying equipment. But there is also a skill system for your each one of your weapons or magic. The higher the weapon skill, the more you can charge your attack to unleash powerful techniques. The higher the magic skill, the more powerful the spells are that you use.

The game is also has a very good challenge level. Its not impossible to beat, but its not one of those games where you can beat it in 20 hours or less. Its got great music and graphics as well. Among some of...

THE BAD:
nothing really..

SUMMARY:
This is by far one of my favorite RPG's to ever hit the face of the earth..I think that it is great that they had an RPG like this when I was growing up, the first multiplayer RPG..I think...^,^' The battle system was great because it was free roaming, and thats the best kind.. The story line was the best, yes even better than Mario RPG..XP..I really liked who you got weapons in this game, you had to collect them from all over...I just wish they would of focused alot on this game and made more like it..They tried but I dont think that any of the games that are like this can really beat it..oldschool all the way.._!_OoO_!_

Graphics:

The graphics are impressive for a super nintendo game, They made the magic and weapon effects brilliantly. The backgrounds and foregrounds were developed in great detail and were easy to see.

Sound:

First rate music in secret of mana, the music compliments the game visuals tremendously well. Magic sound effects coordinated with the category of magic used.

Gameplay:

The gameplay made this game one of the best RPG's I have ever played. The multiplayer system was excellent, the method switching characters was simple, nothing complex. The Battle system was remarkably done, the technique used in using the magic increased the rating of the game, It is swift and straightforward to perform.

Storyline:

The storyline completed the vastness of the game, this was the most important element of the game. The storyline was arranged perfectly, the storyline was easy to follow and is not too intricate.

Overall:

On the whole I...
