THE GOOD:The best of the series, no doubt - why don't they make them like this anymore?
THE BAD:
I don't have a SNES or this game anymore - but if it was portable I would buy it
SUMMARY:
They should stick this on the Gameboy Advance or DS. Then I'd buy it again.
This game was addictive because it was enigmatic - unlike the recent versions of Metroid, the game didn't tell you anything at all, there was no scanning.
It was also addictive because of the atmosphere, an environment you could be enveloped by - yes it was two dimensional but still had atmosphere. Then there was the playability - well, this game had lots to see and do - all the environments had superb detail in all the right places.
Even though the Metroid Prime 2 geezers took one piece of music and one weapon from Super Metroid - Metroid Prime 2 is feeble compared to this.
