Still growning up and having to share one TV in my house at the time of playing this game, my playing time was rather limited. Even furthering my limitations of playing this game, I had to rent this game at our local grocery store. Sometimes I would get lucky and rent the same game on back-to-back weeks; other times it would be a month before I rented the same game again.
I didn't let these limitations stop me from becoming a talented gamer, however. I soldiered on with the best of them.
At first the gameplay was tricky to pick up on when compared to other games in the series because I wasn't familiar with the concept of Yoshi swallowing enemies to form eggs and then throwing said eggs, but I caught on and mastered it nonethless. The graphics were well done with a nice soundtrack. I would definitely play this game again; at least the controlls won't take as long for me to master the second time around.
Have scored 100% on all stages in the game (and it took a lot of work to do it too since I wasn't using a player's guide, using only instinct and exploration know-how; good thing I have a good sense of direction or this could have taken longer).
God, it's been a while since I played this one, But still I remember beaten baby bowser alright...
I liked the game, pretty originail compared to other classic Mario Bros games, this one had Yoshi as a leading star, and being able to change into vehicles was pretty great asswell.
