Show full descriptionAnimal Crossing: City Folk (AC:CF) and Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility (HM: ToT)are probably more similiar then many people believe. Although Harvest Moon games like this usually focus around a plot of some sort, the over-all feel of the two games are alike. Both games allow you to grow and prosper the way you choose, whether that means growing crops and raising animals for products to sell in HM: ToT or digging fossils and catching bugs to sell in AC:CF.

Show full descriptionAnimal Crossing: City Folk (AC:CF) and Mysims are both alike in many ways. The main similarity is the amount of freedom that is given. Both games allow you to be able to customize your game to your style, whether it is furniture style, living style, or clothing style. Not only are both games incredibly customizable, but both games allow you to live nd play without the stress of a storyline. Now of course there are many things to accomplish in both games such as the museum and catalogue in AC:CF and getting all the blue-prints and getting your town to 5 stars in Mysims. There is als the updated version of Mysims called Mysims Kingdom, but the original is sure to impress and feels more similar to AC due to the lack of an actual storyline. Both games offer a unique, but very similar, style of gameplay and are two games worth having in your collection.

Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon have always been very similar, considering both of them involve styling and creating your own home, making friends, and making a living for yourself. In both games you will sell things and create a profit, and meet new characters who will come in and out of your town.

They all have a sort of similar game play feature and their graphics look the same in many ways. In each game you get to act as one character who can possibly talk to other characters and become friends with them. You also have goals and missions.
