BackgroundThis game takes place after the events of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube.Set in a new world freed of miasma by crystal caravans the player is put in the role of a little king of the subtitle. After a long journey in search of his father he comes across an abandoned castle and a giant crystal. The crystal grants the king the magical power of architek; a power that can turn memories into reality. The young king vows to use this power to rebuild his homeland, with the support of his people. GameplayThe goal of the game is to build up a thriving town using the power of architek. The king can build a variety of houses and facilities from memories, and those strongly tied to those memories will also be summoned to occupy the buildings. Use of architek requires energy called elementite though, and the king cannot retrieve this energy himself.
