"Samurai Warriors: Katana also has a series of two player modes for same-system competition. There will be at least five different challenges - in one that we played, player one was on the top with player two on the bottom of a split-screen orientation, and the challenge was to defeat a hundred enemies before the other person does. When the player hits 99, the last guy becomes an end boss that requires much more technique than the standard soldier does."

Knowing that this is most-certainly the first of many games in the series, and taking into account the full $50 price point ($30 is far more realistic, and $20 would be even better) we’ll encourage you to pass on this one, and wait for the inevitable sequel. It’s a decent rental, and an interesting product to hunt for in bargain bins later down the line; nothing more.
