Sandy Beach

"Sandy Beach is an extremely simple, casually-focused creation tool with a flimsy little tower defense mode added on. The sound effects and music are really bland, the visuals are nothing special (though they get the job done for what’s already a very basic offering), but the game works for what it is. We wouldn’t go as far as to say we had fun with the game, or that it really encouraged us to go back and create more castles, get higher scores in the “tower defense” inspired Crab Battle mode. A simple two player mode is available within free play, allowing a buddy to grab another set of Wii-motes and nunchuks and get in on the castle making, but for whatever reason the tower defense mode itself is single player only, which is the only area I’d really want a buddy helping me out in."
