Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

Thanks to a new control system and good online play, Pro Evolution Soccer on the Wii is a unique and enjoyable experience.

Once you do have the basics, you'll find plenty of ways to try out your new pointing skills. While not necessarily up to its rival platform counterparts, PE2008 is full of modes, including a quick match or PK shootout, league and cup play, and a single player Champions Road mode where you can build up a team from scratch. It's easy to experiment with all the modes and options thanks to an interface that approaches Nintendo level in its speed and almost complete lack of load times. Notable among the modes is the one-on-one online match mode. This mode lets you play against an automatically chosen opponent or against friends. The game uses Friend Codes and includes a Friend List with support for up to 32 players.
