THE GOOD:
Excellent art style and animal animations !
Amazing depth of gameplay with food, toys and creating unique animals and exhibits.
Great selection of animal types as well.
My son loves the amount of play you can get out of the toys. I love the real motion of the elements in the world.
The moment you start the game you can feel the energy of the zoo/animals kicking into play. My kids immediately wanted to see all the animals but they took turns picking. They must have played with one animal for two hours.
They truly love this game.
Oh yeah and family friendly...

THE BAD:
A lot of gameplay to understand but eventually it all becomes clear.
I would love more animals (so would my kids), I will be first in line when the sequel comes out with new animals....yay!!
People need to know more about this title, it really fills the parent appreciation void in gaming. There should have been better exposure to it.

SUMMARY:
This is an excellent buy and anyone who has a family with a Wii system needs to get this game...period! My children couldn't put it down, I actually needed to tell them on the first night to stop playing. It's the kind of game that I don't mind them playing too much of.

I can't believe the size of the game considering all our other Wii games are so short. I don't see hours of gameplay, I see months worth. I have already bought two more World of Zoo games for family at the holidays.

When you play such an immersive game that isn't trying to be a pure simulation but just plain fun, it's a breath of fresh air. They focused on the important parts of why we play games... for fun. The simple interactions feed into more complex results and deeper animal behaviours. If only adult games had the same depth in animations and reactions.

I also loved the interface. It was very logical to my kids and they picked it up quickly. They didn't feel intimidated but instead were drawn into the game with a strong sense of exploration. I couldn't have asked for more. They played sim animals and hated it (we actually returned it to the store). So, their reaction to this game was very well recieved by my wife and I.

We appreciate everything that is available in the game and also feel that it was well worth the money we spent to get it. Definitely, purchase the Wii game, I don't know about the PC version but I bought it for my cousin and I will get him to write a review on that version. Good job on such a fun enjoyable game.

My finishing note is to state the following: Not enough companies create solid quality family Wii titles and thankfully, THQ understood this and created this gem.
