THE GOOD:
Amazing hammer-ons and pull-offs. Wireless guitar controller included. Great song list. Replay value is high. THE BAD: SUMMARY:
Guitar Hero III is the sequel to the best-selling game for the PS2 and Xbox 360. It features some of the most unique - and yes, best - gameplay of any game on any console, even going as far as to have it's own controller. However, with Harmonix no longer working on the GH series, did Neversoft manage to let the newest addition live up to the Guitar Hero name? Are the songs catchy enough for GHII veterans to fork out the cash to buy it, and for those looking to be introduced to the GH world, is it worth it to pick up this as opposed to GHII? The answers to these questions and more will be answered inside.
(The gameplay is somewhat hard to explain, but I'm going to do my best. If it isn't sufficient, just look up "Guitar Hero III" on Youtube and look at some videos, combined with the controls listed in this section. You'll get a pretty good idea what the concept is doing this.) The way it works is notes come sliding down the fret board towards you, and at the end...
