THE GOOD:
Rich backhistory; simple learning curve for new players; Simple, good fun.

SUMMARY:
This game is an RPG (role-playing game) at heart with TPS (Third-Person Shooter) gameplay. Shooter fans will be right at home with this game, while RPG enthusiasts will enjoy the role-playing that this game has to offer.

Mass Effect has a deep, rich storyline set several hundred years in the future. It is sci-fi, and can be labeled as a Space-Opera. Mankind has benefited from the discovery of "Mass Effect Relays," which allow exploration into deep space at faster-than-light (FTL) speeds. There are encounters with several alien species, each of which has its own backhistory.

THE GOOD:
Amazing depth in missions and different options in general like Oblivion, but even more.
Gameplay is one of the best I've ever played, if not the best.
3D renders and models are very impressive.

THE BAD:
Has some minor flaws but nothing big.
Needs work (leveling up) to make the fighting mode easier to manage.
Character moves slow.

SUMMARY:
I liked this game from the moment I first played it. It's the best game I have for the 360. Before I bought it I wondered if I should because i thought the gameplay was like Gears of War, which I hate but, although it does resemble something like that, it was a far, far better surprise.
