There's been a lot of talk about Prototype in the short time the game's been out. The gaming community just can't seem to agree on whether this should be marked as successful or a complete bust. It certainly looked promising during our tour of the Radical Entertainment studios. In Radical's latest IP, we take on the role of sexy Alex Mercer, an amnesiac with a serious problem: everyone is trying to kill him. He wakes up in a morgue with no memory of who he is, where he came from, or how the Hell he wound up in the city morgue with all the other stiffs. On top of that, Manhattan has been overrun by some kind of virus, turning humans into zombie-like creatures called the "Infected." Alex has also been infected by the virus and develops bizarre shapeshifting abilities, which you'll get to use while exploring New York on the verge of collapse.
