2008 marks the 30th anniversary of Space Invaders and at this occasion, a new brand-version was created for appealing both old-school fans and new players. Space Invaders Extreme takes take the classic gameplay of the original to the next level: background movies, interactive sounds, etc.. 2009 is marking an new turn for the game, as it's released on Xbox 360 with new features.
